[OFFLINE] Starcraft42`s - Day 64: 17th day of Alpha Testing

Hey starcraft! any idea when the alpha gonna be over? cause i want to start playing again but i feel there is no point to play beta right now... seeing as the bugs that i may find are probably already fixed in alpha

nothing is set in stone yet. there have been pretty regular patches to fix the issues being found in alpha, so rest assured GGG is working hard to get 0.9.3 out of the gate.

that said, we want to make sure that it's as bug-free as possible, and fun to play for every class regarding all of the drastic changes being implemented. i'd wait for official word from the GGG devs as no one else knows for sure when to expect the patch to hit beta, regardless of alpha status.

Yes, I can only second this.

It is important to also know that right now "Bugs" are being addressed, but a) there are not that many and b) the ones we have are kinda "harmless".

Big focus right now is on making sure the balance on the new tree (a LOT has changed) works and the different builds for characters are enjoyable (we all remember the 0.9.2 duelist.... buaaaah).

I spend the better part of 20+ hours with building four different templar builds to see how viable they were.

A "fire witch" templar, a 2H "marauder templar", a dual axe wield "duelist templar" and a "templar templar" ^^

With some very slight adjustments necessary, all of them were viable and fun to play.

As Take already said - we (the testers) have no idea when the Alpha will go Beta. But I am certain when it does its gonna be a big step from 0.9.2. Something to look forward too ^^

I can totally understand this. With the announcement of the 0.9.3 the amount of 0.9.2 players was effectively cut in half. Frankly, had I not been Alpha, I probably would have done the same - maybe played occasionally to stay top 20 on the ladder ^^.

Thats very nice to hear. My 50%fire/50%melee infernal blow staff templar did not do that well in 9.2 ^^

I hope 0.9.3 comes out soon :)

Today I will take a day off from testing. Well, I might actually "play" the alpha a little tonight. ^^ (The difference is not stopping the game and writing down ideas, thoughts and feedback every 5 minutes :D)

We expect the next alpha build some time tomorrow, so more testing will commence then. And I am off all day Thursday as we have a public holiday in Japan (Culture day! yay!)

Actually I am thinking about it.

If someone knows of a good guild management site, let me know, I will have a look.

I would like to NOT have to be busy with guild management the whole time, rather be playing with the guild members ^^

Making a site on Guildlaunch (cause its free and works quite well) not sure whether to make it a US server... but im guessing that will be ok... anyways make an account and ill make you an admin SC.
