Alright, level 68 and farming Piety right now, BUT... physdmg is absolutely insane. very dangerous and i can imagine dying on the first dunegon map i will do.
I have 2300 armor right now and no idea how to get more. gear:

Any ways to improve armor? I would like to aim for 45% physmd reduce if possible. deffstats

Well there's 40% armor to be had by filling out the essentials of the templar area.

You pretty much have to get 2k+ armor chestpiece, its the biggest source of your armor, get your resist elsewhere or get lucky with crafting.

2k armor? yeah not. there is axactly 1 armor with more then 1k armor and good stats on xyz and its the best chest ingame right now.

Anytime you groundslam the entire group you are hitting should be stunlocked ideally.
Unless you are letting several mobs hit you at the same time armor really should not be an issue. Ground slam is not an ability you just stand there and spam and whatever mobs hit you, you let hit you. There should be a lot of stutter stepping, herding, and funneling when you are killing groups. Anytime you are about to take physical damage you should be preemptively armor potting which should not even be every group you engage. With correct play you should pretty much have close to 100% uptime on just one granite flask whenever you are taking physical damage. You will have a few mistakes no matter how good you are but you also have a huge HP pool and immortal call for when you desync or misplay. Basically, you should have close to 10k armor without even trying to get any armor on your gear just from standard gear and granite flask. Basic play of managing one potion will completely prevent you from dying to physical damage in basically 99% of maps you do. #'s on gear isn't half as important as playing intelligently. |

Alkaizer i noticed your gear in your latest update is no longer verified. Any chance for another update of your gear?
Just got to merciless for the first time and gearing up/gemming. Build definitely feels a lot stronger now that I got decoy totem/MS/enfeeble with CWDT. Wish I would have read your post though instead of just trying to copy links. I see you said you were thinking of running a 2 link-2 link. Does that mean you would be casting IC/MS/enfeeble on your own? Sorry for all the questions. This is my first real playthrough after running in blind on my first marauder which didnt even make it to 30. It would also let me regear with different links and focus more on armor/max hp than the links since i feel that mine is low. |

Maybe in the new leagues it is? Dunno, but aiming for +2k AR chest is bit much if you're not very rich, you should be ok with +1k if other gear has decent armor aswell.
