Beta Friend Invites (and closing the Veteran timer)
Intresting change to the invites. This is one effective way to compensate/avoid random invites to inactive ppl.
Just came from work and I was like wait.. what has hapened? :) |
|
Ohh, I wanted to meet new friends in game not here but I'll try to do something.

That's really nice, too bad I don't have friends :)

This is just going to massively increase the amount of spam imo...
Also wonder how many people are just going to use their extra key to sign up a second account? Lost in a wonderful world of VGM covers.

" whats the point of having two accounts |
|
" Alot of people make multiple accounts for games, even if it isn't needed, if for no better reason than taking more names. Lost in a wonderful world of VGM covers.

" A few I bet. But think that majority will hand them out. Alltho, if there is some limit on how many chars one can have on one account then that may push that selfish ppl count up by a bit. And other thought I wonder how often and how many these friend invites can be made? |
|
" Are they not allowed to create more than one character per account? That may be a little selfish, but keep in mind that they have more experience with the game. From a yearning gamer's perspective who just wants to get into the action, their decision to use the second key for their own use may seem like a very, very disapproving choice. But from a player who wants a very finely tuned and polished game, it would probably be better to have the key belong to someone who knows the ins and outs of the game and could probably provide higher quality feedback. " Dunno, i'd be willing to bet they see a massive increase of keys being used without the increased playerbase though. Lost in a wonderful world of VGM covers.

Good move but why not keep veteran timer?
