Beta Friend Invites (and closing the Veteran timer)

Great thats even less chances to get a beta key...
I don't see why they can't just give those veteran users the keys directly. I do however believe it's a good method to invite more people who don't even know about the game. Only a handful decent members will give out to other forum users. Most people will give them out to close friends or keep them for themselves. Time for an exaggerated example:

A: "Hey bro, I got an extra beta key for a game"
B: "Thanks brah, lemme try it...Broooooooo! D2 clone? not cool bro! RAGEQUIT!
A: -_-

and a poor beta key's life has been wasted :(
Great! Now I just need to find a friend.
Would you be my friend..?
;_;
Didn't qualify for veteran as I hadn't posted when I joined. Don't qualify for this because who makes friends on a forum.

Fuck.
titties
Id rather they just have a large increase in random invites.
I dont know anybody on this forum

At least with more randoms I would have some additional chance, no matter how miniscule

Seriously? who is going to send an email to a random person to allow them the chance to play the beta? if anything, all GGG did was make it to where now theres MORE people selling beta keys becasue now all the people playing have another one, so a majority of the players with out friends (not all of them) are just going to seel them. so, i advise if any one is still wanting a key that bad, you have a better chance buying one now for a severly expensive rate. GG Dev team for creating a bigger mess.

I strongly disagree with this. There'll be an open beta in January when every dog and their man can play the game; at this stage they need to be inviting active contributors to test their game, not idiots and fools.

If this change means more active beta members can invite likewise to play, then good things can only happen henceforth!

This is good news I have not partied yet in game but do have a friend I play every game with and he has yet to be invited to beta so I know where my friend invite will go if I get one.
anybody willing to throw a spare key at a vet?
This game looks amazing. As a Diablo, Torchlight, WoW veteran, I can tell you that I would definitely play this. Waiting for a BETA key... Shunyata
