Beta Friend Invites (and closing the Veteran timer)

Now beta people can sell there "friend invite" ^^

The idea is OK, but will lead to two things: even more begging and spamming (vide: this thread) on one side, self-degrading contests on the other side.
Like I said a few weeks ago, if that's the way this community turns out, then this game is over before it even started.
And I don't want that. Because it looks awesome and fills the huge ARPG-shaped hole that exists right now..

Sounds awesome, just checked this morning the counter and saw that the veteran thingy was missing. First thought it was a bugged code on page but after waking up realized its something different :)

I have 3-4 buddies who are very anxious to get their hands on gameplay time with PoE, theyve seen alot of videos and been drooling over screenshots. Just forgot D3 when PoE is around!!!

Good idea, but its a pity for all those people who dont know other poe players. Somebody wants to be my buddy? :D

ok stupid, question, is there no friend invite on theses forums- how do you track if someone is online or not. will there be in game friends list or party list?

I just thought about how many inactive accounts now having a betakey and a invite. Thats just cruel. Maybe you guys should check how much inactive accounts with betakeys are there, delete them and hand the keys to the community.

The people who were lucky enough to win a betakey by the heartless timer, now have another for free.. i dont think everybody will think, thats a great idea.
