Malaysia is mostly islamic and they would get offended by that line.

Great news for me cos' I will actually have friends to play with. I'm working at Garena :)

Glad to hear things are progressing, and especially glad to hear those of us who want nothing to do with Garena will be able to continue playing on the regular servers. That's a very important detail and I'm really happy to see its been covered.

Thats the problem im also wired about. Maybe this game need garena for Chinese version but not sure about sg and malay server

I was stunned with today's news, I'm really worried about this shaky move (like the earlier one for Razer, lol). Sure were having (we've had now, I suppose) occasional disconnections and desyncs, and demanded better servers. Having said that, I'm staying with GGG's. And as the rest of the community have also commented here and the earlier/later posts, I also wish GGG to thread in this direction very carefully. Else, fragmented PoE could lead to its demise. I'm a very happy fan, and wishes all the best to GGG for all their success. Darn, I never had any attachment for a computer game as strong as here, well, that would be along with M:tG (lol). But seriously, I just hope this turns out fine. :-)

This can only ends badly. Very badly, for whatever is going to happen on Garena's side of the game.

But GGG has always made the right choice. I have to give props to them for knowing and finally decided to put it on a separate server. Whatever monetization strategy, content update, dupe or RMT shenanigans Garena put forward on their server wont have any effect on GGG's. In fact it might be better for Garena since they can cater the game more toward their targeted audience.

And for whoever wants the true experience of POE, they can join the official server anytime, without being region locked.

Not a bad news at all. Smart news indeed. The more I analyze these decision the more I have to respect GGG.

While GGG promised us that we are able to continue to play on their server, what will happen if Garena request GGG to make a region blocked? Possible?
