DonaldF's EK DANMAKU Ranger Extremely High DPS /Jan.14 little update [Videos]

Hey I tried the build out tonight on a high level ranger I've got and I noticed when using Cyclone+COCS+EK+EK (all lower level gems) I seemed to be only getting 10 daggers when the EK triggered?, not 20 odd? This was also confirmed in the skill tab where it stated only 10knives or so)

Has something changed to stop this working where you get 20+ knives from the EK doubling/tripling up?

Point Blank doesnt work with EK since it is a Projectile "Spell" not a projectile attack.

Shooting or someone else who uses this build succesfull can you post your gear post patch?

I'm trying to figure out what gems to use in the other slots now that cwdt ethreal knives isn't that good?

EK is quest reward for Breaking Some Eggs (Mud Flats) normal for Shadow and Witch

So, create a new Shadow/Witch, go to mud flats, collect the three items and unlock passage. Go back to town and collect EK :)

hi, i just started leveling for this build. and you say that i should use EK + 2H weapon for leveling. could you explain why? why a 2H weapon if i could use e.g. a shield

You don't use EK and a 2h weapon, you use ST and a 2h weapon. Because damage.

Anyway, I has a question: I hate wasting a slot for mana leech, so to try things out I bought gloves and 2 daggers with "2% of physical attack damage leeched as mana". I didn't expect to leech much from ST which does about 9-16 physical damage, but I thoght when EK procs I would leech a lot. That is unfortunatly not the case. And I don't get it since EK does physical damage. I don't leech mana and no mana leech is shown under the stats. When I put a mana leech gem in I leech mana and mana leech is shown under the stats tab. Obviously it doesn't work, but why? And ... how do you combat your mana issues? I'm kinda sad my thought about leeching mana with gear is wrong.

do you level up cwdt? or keep at lvl 1?
