I also have 38 chaos and dont know how to spend them , for eq or maybe collect all gems?

I think the most important item for this build is Tabula Rasa (or some other 6 link, but you're not buying that for 38c). If you already have that, try to get some really good daggers with high crit chance, spell damage, spell crit, attack speed, etc.

and what do you think about gems , should i just use ethernal knives and cyclone to lvling now hard on cruel when i'm dealing about 260 DPS when my friends on that level as Marauder take about 500-600 DPS
The only good way too better DPS is purchase daggers? and i rea-ask my question how did he use 2 auras in the same time when they eat 60 % mana , that's Cast on Critical Strike or what and why on video he use only PPM ?:D:D ??

actually, if you look hard enough, tabula rasa can be found for approximately 2ex, which is around 40chaos.

for the dagger, what you really want is a high crit rate (>9%). that's the main and first thing to get, as that is where most of your DPS will come from. without that you won't crit enough and you'll do no damage.
then comes the spell damage, which is a very nice add, and will boost your DPS greatly (but only if you already have a high crit chance). for information, i'm doing lvl70 rare maps with .
it's only got crit chance going for it (phys/elem damage to laugh at, no spell damage, no attack speed...) but it's enough.

as for the auras, he's linked them to the reduced mana gem, and also uses some reduced mana reserved nodes in the passive tree.

Hi, I been messing around with a ST/CoC/Discharge build but the gameplay wasn't very smooth. I tried out your idea of using twin daggers cyclone to proc crits and so far it seems to be working out very well. Thanks for idea. Here's my Shadow build and my gear.





By the way, it is almost impossible to get 4 green sockets on that chest. That's why I'm using Discharge.

i use volls EB dagger and high ES titanium shield. also Doedre's Tenure no downside at all^^. actually if u have no problems with crit and such and u are lacking in spell damage those little gloves are cast on crit perfection.

1 coc ek destroys just about everything. i use coldsnap as my second coc spell for freeze lock and synergy with aoe of quality cyclone. with all the power charges u never have to worry about it working.

I always advice to level with spectral throw. It is the easiest and safest was imo. If you dont wana spend on low level items, just go and leech parties. If you go in a party, they wont kick you for having low dps.

On the "what to buy first" topic: I dont think theres any "first to buy" items. You NEED to have all the following to start the build:

At least a 5L (preferably 6L, a Tabula Rasa is the cheapest way)
1 high crit dagger (best with spell damage) and a good shield OR 2 high crit dagger
50-60+ all resist and highest possible Life to survive
Gem links: cast on crit-cyclone-life leech-blood magic-EK(-EK)
cast when damage taken-increased duartion-enduring cry-immortals call
for 2 auras reduced mana-hatred-grace

I think these are mandatory to deal enough damage AND survive.

I just finished leveling the spec with Spectral Throw, and yeah, it's pretty easy for packs !
For bosses, I recommend to buy a super crappy 5L chest, I got this for 1 chaos :

Double strike + multistrike + Life Leech + faster attacks + melee damages is very Nice
Until lvl 55 (mid act3-merciless) this mace was nice :

but then I had to buy a new one

Only difficult "things are" :
Cruel : dominus
Merciless :
- act2 : Vall
- act3 : everything was VERY hard for me from Gravicius. Lightning mages can barely 1-shot you (and I had 50% lightning resist...) Grav + piety + dom are VERY hard. I recommend to level-up, and find a group as soon as you level, so you don't lose 50% xp dying 5x on Dominus -_-


And mephisto, about auras, Im not able to run 3 auras (atm, no passives for reserved-mana and reduced-mana not high enough) and I would prefer to run purity+grace, no ?
or Maybe purity + hatred ?
I bought my stuff to get 55all resists, and be capped with purity :(
I'll try purity+hatred I guess, and switch hatred for Grace if I die too much I guess, but CWDT+endu+immortal+increased duration make us already super tanky vs phys damages, no ?

You will be able to use 3 auras when you have 1-2 mana reserve nodes and lvl 18ish reduced mana gem. Until then use, hatred+grace or purity (which is more needed). If you have the cwdt 4 link, I think purity will be better.

For leveling, you can find much better 2H weapon than that for a few chaoses. I used these:

When I'll be able to run grace+hatred+purity, I'll get like 1-3% left, right ?
Is that enough to proc all the CWDT gems ?

I'm going on 3 :
- endu/immortal/duration
- crit-weakness/area
- molten/*not sure yet*

Even with BM on main skills, and crazy mana-regen, I feel like I won't be able to constantly cast all the CWDT gems, no ? :(

(Im speaking about mana without Eldritch Battery, nor Clarity)
