this. gladly not too many people are running arround as living advertisment. if it where only visible to the players who use it, allright- i don´t want to see any kind of ads ingame.

I just don`t understand why ppl are so butthurt about this.

Yes it`s advertising ok, but ffs this logo is three snakes in celtic like pattern - not car or washing powder - doesn`t break immersion, I personally think that blends well into game.

If it`s going to pay for some extra content or a few trucks of soda for guys at ggg I would like one on the back of my char as well and I`m glad to be a tool.

Please somebody explain to me why is that bad exactly ?

I dunno. In one amusing case, a guy claimed that the "ads insulted him." Never could get him to elaborate on that.

I guess 'cause corporations are EEEE-VUUUULLL! and anyone attempting to promote their products corrupts whatever they touch thereby.

In this instance, no money changed hands. Chris and the top guy at Razer got to talking, and they agreed to cross-promote. Razer has that spiffy PoE ad on their (very popular with gamers) site, and GGG provides the free MTX with the distinctive (if somehow insulting) Razer logo. Some folks just like to bitch about nothing, I guess. For everyone else, there're free footprints, for at least the next 19 days. =^[.]^=

GGG also got Razer equipment for the office, afaik. :P
