(Nov 14) One-week Turbo Hardcore Race

Woot! Another 1-week race! Bring on the pain... 60% faster!

This will be interesting. I haven't played Turbo before. How many deaths should I aim for, over 30 or so hours? :P

I'm not even going to pretend to try to reach 60.

I really hope they increased the speed cap for this mode, I personally dont even notice a difference. I think there will be no delays in peoples levelling since faster mobs can actually make killing faster. If there are more deaths it will be similar to when the resistance penalties were implemented and we saw that there was only a minor change in player deaths.

Well I most certainly have noticed the difference in previous Turbo's. I don't know if it equates to more deaths, but it equates to a slower, more careful pace (for me). But then again, I'm not taking any drugs of any kind. You? ;-).

cool a torbo 1 week race, love it chris (*lock's and bar's door's from the POE linch mob*) glad you liked my race idea. a 1 week torbo resist penelty's outa be fun, and extra challangeing.

no class specific rewards .... but i guess gs mara feedback is important.

im afraid if you ever launch an event with similar settings after the OB launches, everyone will just roflstomp as many maras as possible to 70+ for max orbs.


ill play a witch anyway, since orbs are soon-to-be worthless and i dont have time to go for top 20.

the point someone made about feedback is funny. gl those that take part, i see litte point given no class-specific rewards and the fact slamming maras have bored me to death.

You know there is a whole game out there with this vast skill tree, dozens of skillgems and 6 character classes right, maybe a one-week event is just the time to diversify yourself and try something new for a change. Don't limit yourselves to the most brain dead build out there.(don't act insulted, you know it's true).

For me this race is about trying a bow duelist and more importantly continuing the ever raging fight against We must keep their population low or we risk being overrun.

Also judging from past statistics there are probably less than 20 players who can make it to level 60 in one week hardcore turbo, so worrying about rewards is pointless.

Think there will be more than you expect reach 60 and 70.
