Oro's Ceaseless Discharger (Spectral Throw + Cast on Crit Discharge)
i tried the decoy totem myself and, but found the critical weakness more usefull.
I don't need distraction, since i can dash out of the danger area with whirling blades. So the critical weakness is far better, since it provides me with more crits and thus mor discharges. I thought about using blood rage myself. But i have no idea how to handle the chaos dmg. Surely the life leech from Blood Rage wont be enough, would it? And since you don't leech from your discharges with Blood Rage I don't think i would survive this long enough without using all my potions. But u r welcome to correct me if I'm wrong :). |

Why spectral throw? And why must it be level one?

spectral throw hits one target several times, so your chance to crit is higher.
You could also use cyclone i think, but then you have to get closer to the enemey ;). lvl 1 is because it costs less mana. You don't need the spectral throw to make damage, but to generate charges and crits. For levelling though i'd recommend to lvl the spectral throw and run a clarity aura. This works quite good for me now. |

" The life leech doesn't apply to spells and Spectral Throw does no damage so it doesn't life leech well. Not worth using at all on this build unless you go CI. " Decoy totem is really amazing. Ideally you should get it but this build needs accuracy. Without accuracy you aren't hitting, and if you aren't hitting you aren't critting. But yeah, I have more than enough crit chance. " Just to clear up any misunderstanding over this, the individual projectiles of any one particular ST action do not have their own chance to crit - it is decided on a per action basis. Critical Weakness can mess around a little with this due to the way it works, but essentially you will either crit on an action (probably multiple times in this case) or you will not, regardless of the number of hits made by that action. What does the multiple hits per any one action provide then? Well, if the action rolls a crit then all the hits from that action will be crits which means that you will suddenly proc the CoC-linked spell a lot within a short time-frame. So, your chance for the overall number of procs per action is higher if the action has multiple hits, but your chance to get at least one proc per action does not change. This means you can have a dry spell of no procs, which can be deadly - the multiple hits does not help with this. Usually once you do proc everything but a rare/unique mob will instantly die if there is more than one enemy, likely by a large overkill. This means it is more important I feel to increase your crit chance and attack speed than it is to increase your spell/elemental damage because it is more important to shorten dry spells than it is to increase your burst damage. Again, survivability is also likely to be more important than spell/elemental damage for the same reason. Last edited by Aimeryan on Nov 9, 2013, 10:22:25 AM

Hey,
I just picked up the game again after a long break from early beta. I really like the idea behind this build, but it looks like there is quite a few item requirements in there that are out of reach for a first domination character. Is there some nice way to transition an untwinked character slowly towards this build while keeping it viable with cheap items? So far I only picked up passives up to path of the warrior.
" Hi, I played Nem and then got killed by dysnc rhoa at 69 so I rolled on Dom and this is my first class, The cost isn't great, Volls = 2-4 chaos depends on links Cast on crit = 2-3 chaos 8.5%crit chance dagger 1alc to 1 chaos
Running this build as CI with Vaal Pact and IR, one question I have is how you deal with single target mobs? I've been trying to figure something out but not much luck so far.

" Watch the video, I just blow them up. But seriously, you just stack crit chance. Discharge is your AoE and single target. It just decimates everything.
Hi thanks for the build.
I do not know how many chroma you used, but I'm more than 400 and I'm starting to lose hope. Never more than two greens on my 6S 5L But I guess it must be quite rare green 3 slot on this kind of gear. I have this dagger should build it for? the low Spell damage is not too handicapping?
