Yes you are of course right, I stand corrected. They both have a base APS of 1.2. Demon daggers and Platinum Kris both have a base critical strike chance of 7.28%. So I still don't understand why you wouldn't use a Kris dagger for this build since it has 20% higher implicit global critical strike chance.

It does not happen to you since it cannot happen. If it was possible for the automatically cast skill to trigger itself that would be insanely overpowered. If you were very lucky and had insane gear and a good build you would be able to kill say Dominus in literally one manually cast attack. What happens to you is that Spectral Throw crits and you get a lot of Discharges. You can have some throws out so to speak at the same time.

God, now I want a cast on crit that proccs off spell crits :D

@Oroboro: Thanks for sharing this build. Got halfway decent gear to run it and it is insanely fun to just charge a large pack and explode the shit out of them.

Someone questioned whether the build could hold it's own in 70+ maps... It can. If you're running with other people you might upset them if they have a dedicated MF culler, though.

I wouldn't try to reroll that Kris. It has the perfect stats for this build (spelldamage, ias, accuracy, crit).

Sorry boys, I FEEL VERY STUPID, but I can not trigger the discharge gem :(

This is my very simple setup:



at this point, Spectral Throw is generating 4 power charges.... fine

the problem:



My simple vool´s config: Cast on critical Strike > Discharge

Discharge never happens....


I have tryed also with another two gems on the setup, MultiStrike + DualStrike like a boy a few post before, but nothing, discharge never happens. (Cant use Dualstrike as attack cause is linked to Cast on Critical Strike)

I see the "critics" happening all the time due to the reset time on the power charges......

What Im doing wrong??¿??????????????????¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿?????????


PD: This build is AWESOME, I have a few pj on 79, 68, 65 but nothing like this! (summoner tank, LA Ranger.....)

OMFG!!!!!

I think I find the problem, it´s a bug!!!
The "cast on critical strike is at level 4, so I must be at least , level 37 for using it"

Im level 38, but not works, BUT, the gem is "waiting" to get a plus level and go to level 5, that needs a player level 39 for using it.

I "think" that is not trigering cause the gem is waiting to level up, only fires at 39, im at 38, but the gem is really at level 4 (level 37 player).....

If I go to level 39 and starts working without level up the gem to level 5, is a bug.

Also, Im very tired, so, maybe is just my imagination. tomorrow will test it and if my problem solves reaching level 39, I will notify GGG about the bug :P
