Oro's Ceaseless Discharger (Spectral Throw + Cast on Crit Discharge)

Yea, 6-Link Voll's will go for way more than 5ex on hardcore leagues as opposed to standard.

I just made my Voll's 5-link, g-g-g-r-b, after 61 fusings, 120+ chromes, and 50+ jewelers.

I just wanna say that this build is so fun but be very careful when going through packs because most of the time I just blast my way through and don't see ele reflect mod.

My current gear


I'm looking to buy a dagger with a higher base crit with spell damage and also tri-res rings with +life but I've been having trouble having any luck finding them or making contact with sellers of items that I've seen in poe.xyz.is

Also, I'm running Determination aura instead of Discipline to get past 3k armor. I also have Life Gain on Hit instead of Increased Area Effect because I ran out of chromes trying to get GGGBBR.

Even with the changes to Cast when Damage Taken, it's still a pretty good build. I leveled up CwDT to 4 so my Molten Shell level 9 can still proc often enough to give me 403 armor. I might add either Devouring or Decoy Totem and Summon Skeletons in place of Cold Snap as I feel that it doesn't really do much when I have a low level CwDT.

There is no Volls Devotion in domination? I cant find it

Nice build. I will call a nerf on it. But it will not be as huge as on the CODT gem but more in a form of lowered proc rate or a change in the way spectral throw crits and procs. A kind advice, dont spend too much on this build.

I can't see any reason why ggg should nerf this build. It is not that overpowered and if they nerf ST you can easily switch to Cyclone or dualstrike with multistrike.

Today was my lucky day. Just got .
That pushed my Crit chance from 36% to almost 50% :).
Now i only need to 6 socket and 6 link my Volls Protector. But it seems this may take a while :(.
Is there any reason you didn't take Disemboweling?
This would give you a tremendous boost to crit chance, as it adds 140% to crit if you reach it.
Seems a bit better to me, than taking Intense Zeal.
Of course you'd miss some of the life nodes you picked up on the way to Intense Zeal, but you can take the 3 6% to life an mana nodes to recompensate and then proceed to Athelticism after taking Disemboweling.

It has, like, none of the dps nodes of your version. Also no AOE increases. So in a way, it's a more 'controlled' version.

CI, Vaal Pact. Elemental Adaptation. I'm trying to make it reliable for Hardcore so I don't die instantly to reflect.

That is the CI version of the build I would run. Scion is the most cost efficient start for this build, especially if you want Vaal Pact. If you really, really want elemental adaptation you can run your version. The extra 2% would definitely help.

Power Charge on crit would only give you one power charge per crit, which doesn't really work in that the point of the build is to discharge as many times as possible as fast as possible. It would be pretty shit unless you had A LOT of spell crit.

For this build, global crit is better than weapon crit because it effects both the spectral throw crit chance AND your discharges. It's as simple as that really. The global crit nodes are much more most efficient. You could get the other nodes instead if you already have high spell crit or you don't care if your discharges crit or not. But the more your discharges crit the more you keep up your power charges and the more you keep on discharging.
