The only expensive piece of gear is saffells frame for 1-2 exalts. The rest of the gear is cheap. You need a +2 minion helm, aurumvorax, quantity uniques and the rest of the gear should have life/iir/(resis). All these items are pretty cheap to get and you dont need much resis on the gear because of purity and aurumvorax. You just should have 3k+ life (atleast on HC imo). Armor is also not needed on gear since you will run grace+determination+aura buffing nodes.

rest combined = 1ex

no you will not have 300% rarity but i started off Piety runs with -20% myself

Would Empower be worth linking to Zombies? It seems that they gain quite a bit of physical damage as well as hp. Although the physical damage they have is unknown...

Or is that an absolute overkill ;)

Is chober and sidebreath amulet still working for snapshotting ?

And can i unequip them and switch to my normal weapon if i dont have the gems in em ?

for piety runs it is overkill, for mapping, you snapshot them in a BoR, no room for Empower

I am having issues attempting to use Trap, Remote mine, raise zombie, and Multistrike. I'm able to set the traps, then detonate..but then nothing....I am open to any suggestions.

Do the gems have to be place in a certain order? do they have be same levels. etc.

Just trying to learn it. Yes I watched the videos and can't figure it out. Same links, NOT the same order....

I started using his guide and noticed that too. /oos solved it for me. The bodies weren't in the actual position your client claims they are. If the bodies are too far away the trap after the mine just disappears. /oos before or after clearing out the bodies I didn't need for spectres worked and just oosing for zombies should do it.

I think Empower is good when you want to build your zombies as pure tanks, snapshotted in a +2 helm with Minion Life etc. For damage output, there are many better supports.

Going to assume you don't have the cloth belt like me and that's why its not working :P?
