You people don't get it.
While running 5-6 auras requires so many more points spent now, those auras are also vastly more powerful. Before the launch the only passives that improved auras was the Inner Force tree, and that only gives + 21% effectiveness. Now if you specifically make such an aura build, you get up to an additional 78% effectiveness, plus the base values of most auras is much stronger now. So while it takes more points to run so many auras now, they are still vastly more powerful, and the build is much more effective than it was before. Also you don't in anyway need to use the same idea to kill enemies as the OP does, you can still make an aura build around any skill, though it wont benefit spell based builds much as there aren't any auras that boost spell damage. (b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature ... are not permitted.

Is OP suggesting that everyone should play a low-life build like he does? This thread has no relevance to the vast majority of builds at all. Most people play life-based builds, bottle-necking everyone into playing low-life builds is not a solution to anything (not implying that there even is a problem).

obviously what the op says is BS, specially the thread title but if you see what hero said, and actually having an effective build runing 5 auras should get some people thinking.
now that 3 new auras are coming, there is gona be a new role for this kind builds, just take the information that is useful to you, even when the thread is pointless. IGN: RFFP

Interesting build. I'd like to see a video of it in action.
I certainly wouldn't say that what you're describing sounds "easier" or "more effective" than pre-nerf aura buffs, but it does seem like it could be pretty cool. fwiw, I'm glad about the changes they made to auras. It was so easy to get all the auras you could need that there was no decision making needed when it came to choosing what to use. |

I thought about a "reflect build" as well but came to the conclusion that it's not worth the efforts unless there would be a gem like "Cast on Block" which would be pretty neat.
Problem is, to do only reflect dmg you must take dmg yourself. But to do so, high defensive stats are required to not get killed which lowers the number of procs on dmg taken. |
