" No it wont affect the build very much since its really tanky even without endurance charges and molten shell. I'm switching to just one CWDT gem instead of 2 and i will level that to 20. Here is my current gear so you can see what my current gem setup is.

Some of the gems is low level right now because of the changes and I also started using Purity of lightning which saves one passive point and gives more lightning resist so I get higher over the max which is good in case I get cursed. This is my current passive tree I haven't switched the bandit quest rewards yet since i don't have enough regrets. Updated stats

Why level up CWDT to 20 ? it's 2500+ damage

how well does that cast on damage taken work with lightning warp onto it? do you just randomly keep warping around or just have a non stop AOE around ya? just trying to see why ya changed it from detonate dead

Hi all and congrats anders515 for that incredibles build and guide you made.
I'm following it more or less and I want to ask if you considered taking the Charisma and Mana Geyser passive nodes between the ranger and the Shadow starting areas. I know the number of passives are very limited but I think those two can help very much with mana problems (maybe with those two nodes is the mana leech gem unnecesary?). Maybe some casting speed could be sacrificed for that, all the nodes from the path to Mental Acutty and a +30 dex (because some +10 dex nodes are in the way). I'm still level 49 and perhaps my thoughts are going in a wrong way but those two nodes are so tempting and so close each other... I just saw in this moment that Ballistic Mastery is just 3 nodes away from this path, that could be another great node for this build. Thanks :) Last edited by Semaniel on Nov 13, 2013, 6:36:29 PM

Just want to chime back in and say that I'm now close to 70 and I have to say that Merc Dominus was extremely frustrating. His little ghost women thing kept murdering me to desync and not having Rath for high spell block at the time. Other than that, Merciless and maps have been a cakewalk so far. Again, +1.

" You need a lvl 20 CWDT to use it with other lvl 20 gems, im going to try that first and if i dont like it ill probably try something like lvl 1 CWDT with a low level enduring cry, decoy totem and lightning warp. |

" Lightning warp used to be really nice on CWDT since it warps you right next to mobs, I'm not sure how good its going to be now that it wont trigger that often. I was using detonate dead just to fill the gem slot it didn't really do much. |

" Yes i considered both Charisma and Mana geyser while original planning the build but i realized i didn't have enough passive points to take them. Personally i don't have any mana problems at all and to remove mana leech you probably need 600+ mana regen since you want it to be at max mana all the time. I also briefly considered Ballistic mastery while making the build but it isn't as good as it looks, at least for this build, the projectile speed isn't necessary since the build already uses faster projectiles and its only 5% damage per node assuming you already took Charisma. |

" Can't you get a shit ton of damage by using 5-6 points and going to witch tree for the nodes leading up to the 20% elemental dmg one? In fact, if you are willing to drop 12% spell dmg worth of block, you could get like 40%+ spell damage and be right next to a bunch of 3% fcr nodes and fire dmg nodes Also, here is my current gear: Level 67.
