" Some of them did, but some did not (which he could not kill before they reached him and exploded - furthering the point). Buff arc to 75% dmg effectivness, give it 30% increased dmg and 6% crit chance with a drifrent quality bonus. And MAYBE add +1 chain target.
So that we would have one lighting skill where we can build crit around and it would not be OP on arc since you can only hit a few targets. The other thing is before chain got nerfed everybody used chain with arc it was out of the question to not use it with arc. But after the chain nerf, arc didnt get a buff and now its sitting at a completly useless place. Really dont know why GGG doesnt do even little incremental changes to the skill to see when it will be ok. |

how about 60% damage modifier and +1 chain, for 85% of current mana costs? lets not go too far now.

[x] vote for Arc buff in any way.
I would prefere that do all damage(3x) to one enemy if can't go to next enemy. Also just buff damage overall ~15% - 25%, if its still that mana intensive. If you like remove the shock. |

nope, no need to remove shock...
I'll also prefer +1 chain (and may be a bit less mana/more dmg), so it could be better used as AOE skill |

It really should at the very least have 100% effectiveness, if not also +1 chain, and +10-15% damage. Semi-vintage Chain Lightning had 5 chains, right?
" All the projectile coverage enhancers are kind of borked. When you socket in chain or lmp, you're already getting a damage reduction by virtue of the opportunity cost of a damage support. If they had no damage penalty at all (such as the correctly-balanced Increased Radius support has), then it would be the same as having 20 to 25% less damage. The shotgunning really should go, it's weird and arbitrary. Lightning Arrow and Ice Shot can be balanced around the knowledge that they shotgun with some nerf to their pinions, and Spark works well as-is; it's disappointing Siege Mode Piety can GMP Ice Shot all day like a boss but if you try the combo you're a useless chump. Or that Chain is awful on the chaining Arc or multiproj is awful on the multiple-projectile Split Arrow, Lightning Strike, and Spark. " That seems indicative of the general picture with this patch -- too much new content, too little balance and system tweaking. I do have hope for the minor patches to bring about actual change, but that hope is liable to be crushed under the stampede of incoming Vaal gems.
