you can with gear i used to wear, i said this build is gear dependent when it comes to ES gear, it is most certainly not for the average player, you need a 1k chest, 450 es helm,350boots or wakes if the rest is high enough, 300 es gloves etc. you need high ES gear to go CI, very high es gear, otherwise you wont survive, you need at least 7-8k ES , ive talked to inva about the new CI and mob damage and concluded that would be the minimum to get now for a melee shadow.
someone around here calculated that with absolute max ES gear, as in the best possible mods, you would be at around 12.8k ES, its highly likely you wont get the best possible mods on every piece, so with just generally very good ES gear you should be able to reach 10k and possibly be able to sacrifice ES boots for wakes. this post is really no offence i respect your work in this guide and i like it! But i belive this build isnt vaible again.
but plz! show me at least one 1k ES chest post ES stat nerv on items 10k is possible for sure! but only if u pick a LOT more ES nodes and a shield. " this is the guy who calculated it with the best possible gear. you can get to 10k es with chayula wakes and absolute max ES gear. so with a normal pair of ES boots instead of wakes you can get past 10k. This is also calculated without the discpline aura on, which should give a lot of ES too considering the build also takes inner force, besides being increased by all of the ES nodes it also gets a 30% buff from inner force. " You do need some pretty gigantic ES gear tho, i would have revived this shadow myself but unfortunately i barely got any time for PoE lately. You do need pretty high ES gear for it, too bad CI got nerfed so hard, the build used to be more accesible, i started with it fresh when i created it as in empty stash and still managed to do it, but now with how CI and damage in the endgame is its much harder to do. " well i'll explain my calculation: 1. almost all mods "increase" %ES so it should be added 2. (100%+179%+52%+103%) - 100% is your base ES from gear - 179% adds your talent tree. it's not 100+79. it's ES increased by 179% - 52% adds int from talent tree. it's your int when you're naked - 103% adds int from gear and %ES mode on ammulet Infused shield adds multiplicative cause it adds 20% "more" ES.
