Not to mention the mana multiplier on WED... I run grace + hatred with just enough mana left to cast 2 ST. Works fine with 2% leech and 120% mana reg but WED would screw me up.

Good to know. I may need to switch WED to Faster attacks when I get to running 2 auras.

Could you post your exact build, I am only level 56 but your dps is something to strive for :)

axe nods because of kaom's primacy.

Life regen nods because of blood rage.

The rest is selfexplanatory imo.

/e

And i run 2 cast when damage taken gems 4 linked with vulnerability, blood rage, molten shell, enduring cry, immortal call and devouring totem.

Got summons and decoy to swap in.

I noticed you didn't take the projectile damage nodes at the Scion start. I considered not taking them myself but am wondering why you chose to not take them.

I use double strike a lot for single target and finishing off small packs and those nods are useless for that. Even for ST they are quite weak so I went for the life regen.

Yes, 8,6,6,6 is pretty weak. I would say if you swapped them for life regen to run blood rage, you are probably better off. The attack speed increase from the Frenzy charges and life leech probably offset whatever DPS you lost. I'll keep this in mind. Thanks for posting your build.
I'm following the OP's updated build. Mostly done. I haven't done the Templar life branch up from RT.

level 68

6378 armor
2300 life
5356 dual strike
1528 spec throw
72-75% resists
-60 chaos

Life is low because I have no +hp gear. Using all self-found.

Facetanked Piety. Kole one-shot me, had to kite.

Hmm I wonder if this is more viable than the op's build. I presume you have bloodrage perma on which would give you 4 frenzy charges all the time. With your life regen you also probably don't lose too much health. Gonna have to try it out, thanks.
Love the build. Quick question though, I'm using double strike as my "boss killer" and I was wondering if it's better to use multistrike or melee physical damage. I'm not really sure which one does more damage. Anyone out there that could help would be much appreciated. Don't want to waste a bunch of time leveling the wrong gem.

I notice most people using Double Strike for single target. Why not something like Heavy Strike instead?

It does quite a bit more damage. 150% Damage, and 5% per level physical damage increase, and 0.75% attack speed per % quality!

Compare to 70% x 2 = 140%, 4% increase per level, and 0.5% attack speed per % quality for Double Strike. Worse across the board. Not to mention it lacks the Stun reduction.

Is there any good reason to use Double Strike rather than Heavy Strike? The only reason I can think of is if you hate the knockback - it can be a bit annoying with Multistrike?

Is my build good for leveling? currently lvl 32
