Animate Guardian

Change this skill to not eat your gear when it dies. There are literally no other abilities in the ENTIRE GAME that do this. It makes no sense, and frankly, every time my AG dies, I really want to quite the game but I don't because of sunk cost fallacy at this point. Also, you guys have said multiple times that you value gear progression and player time, AG destroying its equipped gear is the polar opposite. Please support your words with your actions.
This is not a gearing thing by the way. My AG had Mask of the Stitched Demon Garb of the Ephemeral Southbound Rare boots that capped all other resistances + had 2% life regen when hit Kingmaker and was affected by Determination Discipline (yes only gives life regen with mask) Bone Offering and Purity of Elements And linked to Meat Shield Support Empower Support Minion Life Support in a lvl 21/20 gem Thats 10-15div worth of gear and more ehp than 95% of all character builds out there. Still gets oneshot... very fun. To be clear, I am not mad about my minion dying. I am mad about the lost investment, and the very clear waste of my time. Just let us recast the AG and have him come back with his gear, it's that simple. |

My #1 feedback about this gem is that it should be summarily removed until it can be reworked. Reworked into what? I don't know. But I'm tired of my friend rolling a necro every league and then complaining his AG died due to a bug and he lost a few things. I'm also tired that EVERY SINGLE minion build basically requires an animate guardian gem in there, and most leagues you can't even use minion builds because of how krangled damage against minions is.
its had a good run, but needs to be put on the shelf for a while until something can be done about it. IGN : Reamus

" Totally agree with this ive played minion builds since they was introdouced the game and you rely heavy on the AG for your dps output, yet i had my minion die in ToTA.... triple with just over 500 rating, because 1 shot, my AG is around 50-60k hp they had alot of complaint about the ToTa 1 shotting AG's They could have made ToTA pvp like system, so if you AG died it died, but you had your items still on your AG but guess GGG will not fix it so yeah remove AG and buff minion builds until you have a clear fix for it |

Animate Guardian of Smiting keeps getting stucked or not able to hit a monster if the zombies or spectre surrounded it first.

Some improvements about AG gem:
1- something like press alt/ctrl/any button to check itens in there, its liked a crucible tree open new window, so u can pass mouse in each 'node' to check stats from 'boots/gloves/helm/weapon/shield/chest'; 2- maybe do it possible to eat rings, ammy or belt? maybe all?? Because if its still dieng for new content/bugs, at least more defences/offences while still alive (or after bug fixes); 3- maybe do a new tranfigured AG gem with possible to not eat itens? its stucked in AG for ever, if its die, have 60s cooldown to revive it (BUT STILL with the worth itens), so u can lost it while farming some uber/juice content, but not lost it for ever, just for the instance/cooldown; 3.1- For change itens in AG, its have a 'pay attention button' to show u the old item will be lost for ever and new one will be stucked in gem; 4- create more transfigured gems... someones more tank, others for some especific content, others for some especific minion builds, like niche ones (poison builds, spirit builds, AW builds, dance of dervish builds, wolf on kill builds, herald of agony builds, maw of mischef builds etc; 5- Create AG transfigured gems with some random buffs in they, like 'Nearby Enemies Killed by anyone count as being Killed by you instead' but u CANT put chest in AG... or AG have onslaught buff for u and nearby allies, but cant use weapon/shields, AG have culling strike aura but cant use helmet etc etc etc; 6- Do AG immortal, but when got just 1 hp, its gives no buffs for 2 min or for this instance, so u not lost the AG itens, or AG are unsummoned when gots 1 HP and have cooldown to resummon etc etc etc. \/ Sorry for my poor english!! /\ Last edited by Rato86#5476 on May 24, 2024, 1:42:37 PM

minion necro build. got that bone barrier. decked out AG ( mask of the stitched demon, dopplganger guise, southbound, kingmaker, unique boots that gave a a good amount of chaos res) its a level 21 gem supports by meat 20/20 meat shield 20/20 minion life, detemination, a perfect warlord.
took it through delirium shaper guardian famrin, all the pinnacle bosses, the feared, uber cortex. just fine. t16 harvest, no dangerous mods. deleted by some random harvest mobs. CAN WE PLEASE STOP DELETING THE EXPENSIVE GEAR THAT GETS EQUIPPED TO THEM FOR THE LOVE OF WRAECLAST OR SO HELM ME I WILL BURN ORIATH MY GOD DAMN SELF. i understand that its a lot of power you get through the AG and it needs to have a "cost" BUT THE COST WAS GETTING THE GEAR. make mew level a new fucking gem instead. make me pay gold to some holy man. but AG players are the only players in the game who lose currency when they fail harder content.
