No. It explicitly applies to damage you take when being hit. Degen doesn't hit you.
What about damage from reflect, will it reduce it ?

See, maple story stole magic guard from another game... which stole it from a tabletop game.

Which stole it from some legend.

So I mean... Saying that any mechanic was specifically stolen from maple story is pretty erroneous, considering that there are earlier (and more genre specific) instances.

Diablo and D2 has Energy Shield, which is the same mechanic, and predate maple story. Before them it gets less clear where the mechanic was taken from.

Well that's a bummer for CI users :/ Can CI have it's 20% more es from Infused Shield back now that the whole Khoms imbalance is fixed? Hybrid life/es users on the other hand can use MoM as a backup for large hits and not have to worry about mana regen in most situations. Time to Think up a MoM GR VP build.

hey, what do you think: how much "open" (non-reserved) mana do you need for MoM to be effective? (I know this dependens a lot of armour,hp etc. etc.) but what do you guess. 1000 open mana? more, less?
can someone tell me if shock/chill/freeze durations and stun chances are lowered by mind over matter?
As far as i know those durations and chances are calculated from the damage dealt to a target compared to the LIFE of this target. MoM doesnt reduce the incomeing damage and doesnt increase the players life, so i guess i doesnt do anything against status ailment/stun?

Hope this isnt true, can someone answer me this question plz?
