Guild Medieval is recruiting.

The Nemesis Lowbies event worked out great. Looking forward to next week!
I beat cruel, ruthless and merciless and all I got were some maps.

Lots of new Squires! Our PoE mumble channel has been busy.

No guild is completely without drama and ours is no exception. We try to keep it to a minimum by having strict rules of conduct and a long trail period (Squiring). Many of our members are parents, some with small children who like to watch and listen! (Taaser's little son likes to say Hi to us on mumble :) So if our policies seem heavy handed, keep in mind we want to foster an environment we don't need to worry about hiding from our kids.

I'd also like to reiterate the other big thing for us is participating in our community. Guild Medieval (GM) is bigger than any one game (PoE, NW, D3, DD0, etc). These are just the games we're playing today, interest in a game comes and goes but GM and the people in GM persist. That's why it's so important that new members show a desire to want game with US and we want to game with them- by grouping up in game, posting in the forums, chatting in guild channels, etc. Real life comes first, but when we're online we want to have fun together.

About FriarJon

I joined GM in PoE shortly after the open beta release in Feb 2013, but had been playing PoE since the July Open Weekend in 2012. After participating in the small PoE Alpha Testing community leading up to the open beta launch I was missing the guild environment as Alpha is almost like a guild. I liked that GM was a "gentleman's guild" with a multi-game presence. I had participated in a guild in another game and we had a great bunch of people, but it fell apart as people lost interest in playing. I liked that we could still play together in other games if people lost interest.

I was Knighted in PoE and had lots of fun with other GM exiles in Wraeclast. When Neverwinter (NW) went into open beta I decided to check it out and soon became addicted! I was getting burned out on PoE so the timing was good. I was eventually promoted to officer as a Knight Templar, serving the Squires to assist them in being Knighted. More recently I was promoted again into a more senior officer as Lord Templar in NW, overseeing the other Knights Templar and training new ones for that game.

With the PoE official launch I've got the PoE bug again and now play both PoE and NW! Been having a blast with the new content and enjoying the new class.

Seeya in Wraeclast!... or Faerun!

Very impressive, all true and unadorned, and puts my regular epistles to shame.

I'll have to wait for inspiration to strike. In the meantime, we're still recruiting.

I understand this is a role playing game, but I don't think the best role to play should be shopkeeper. - AlteraxPoe

Random PK'ers annoying you at the bandits? Then there's no need to deal with random people...
a good guild is an excellent way to avoid both grief and griefing.

As a reminder, the application process is described in the very first post on this thread. And we are still fully open to new members.

Just a reminder, we're still happy to recruit, whether you're new to the game or a CB veteran.
