284 deaths, and 112 total surviving chars.

Yesterdays 3 hour had 156 deaths, and 140 total surviving chars, with 116 in prize pool range.

I think a few more may have died :)

What an amazing race between dime and panda! As great as both are, I don't think either knew who was going to win at the end there.

I nearly quit in the last 30 minutes as soon as Panda hit Ledge, but someone in global chat told me they didn't want to see Panda win another Demigod's, and I delivered ;)

Brutus on ranged fighters is really bugged at the moment.

He uses 2 consecutive attacks and once you got hit 2 hooks you are done for, since you are out of synch.

Top witch. Farmed western forest for the last hour and 15 minutes or so. Had a close race with the 2nd witch for the last hour or so. Didn't feel it was worth the risk trying to get to waterfall cave.

Didn't have too many issues with brutus for whatever reason. Merveil was a nightmare due to no rings and low life.

I might be in the minority here, but boooo for turbo. At high latencies there are too many luck based situations, and certain parts of game balance get thrown out of wack too much IMHO. I don't want to be forced to play marauder just to stay alive early on.

I'm all for having it as an option for those that want to play it, but not at the expense of the normal party/solo races.

Well, after getting shafted by the drop rng for as many races back as i can remember, i finally got a break. Nothing amazing in act 1 aside from an alch that did nothing to improve the item i used it on and a 10% run blue boots after brutus, but early act 2 the rng decided to make up for its previous hatin and poured on the love in the form of 7 more alchs and so many rares i wasnt even picking them up in the last 40 mins. Could have been dressed entirely in rares if id bothered to stop and apply the final 2 alchs but by that point i was in western with high life, 75 fire res and a massive lead over second place in my class, so i saved them for standard league instead.

The race itself went mostly smoothly aside from the brutus battle which was a nightmare with three terminal desyncs and a wall embedding, all of which i had to save+exit from and which cost me a good 15 extra minutes of rerunning lower/upper prison four more times. I made sure to have 75 cold res for merveil, since her spears cant be kited at that speed, and accordingly didnt have much trouble. Act 2 went well, couple minor desyncs in weaver but nothing bailworthy.

Had no plans to try for cruel this race, and due to the brutus bs i didnt have time to make waterfall cave profitable, so i grinded it out in western forest to the finish. 1st place shadow and 3rd overall in the end.

Feedback: Brutus desync cannon being unkitable is a recipe for disaster and makes the whole battle feel like a massive coinflip. Tbh the hooks not any better in standard mode but at least it can be reliably dodged. I suppose this once again comes down to sync/netcode needing improvement so theres not really much more to say.
