Shield (Block) + Pure Evasion Ranger

I'm really in love with this build. Swaped the last weapon for this claw I found, nothing too fancy but gets my dps to decent numbers.



The 6% life leech in the claw are awesome. Now I don't even need to use pots, since when I get surrounded by mobs I don't even get in risk of death.

Loving this build!

Haha, that's true. I noticed I only have 600'ish hp so far, but still have LOTS of survivability.

I'm going into hp nodes now, so the problem will be solved soon :)

Currently I am looking for a new helm with decent evasion and double/triple resistances, and a shield upgrade with all resistances and/or also double/triple.

Only died about 18 times and I am already in Act 2 Ruthless, mostly soloing the way there. Most kills were tests on the build tankyness, most times surrounded by more than 10 mobs :p

Soloed the East part of Act2 (Golden Hand, Fidelitas and Kraitlin) and didn't die once ^^

I would say something a bit more like this :)

Im sure I read somewhere on the Post about a Belt with Strength and Int? Or maybe All Attributes.

There's 2 Unique Belts that you could use.

actually meginord would be alot better

Was thinking about getting wurm's, but then I saw Meginord and I am trying to get it since then :)

And which skills are you using to deal damage ? Quite new here and this build looks really interesting.

At the moment I am using Lightning Strike and Dual Strike.
Not really worrying about socket links yet, just getting what I can grab with not really worrying about high end-stats.

I currently have dual strike combined with a faster attacks support, and lightning strike with faster attacks + mana leech.

I am considering using 4~5 links in LS to tweak it a bit (faster attacks, mana leech, lesser multiple projectiles, point blank and some other that I am still trying to decide).

Double strike will probably be ok with just faster attacks and added melee damage.

Using shield charge to get away from sticky situations.

As a last consideration, I am thinking of swapping Anger with Vitality. Not that Vitality is really needed, but I want to experiment the build without using pots, or at least 1.
After being hit the first time it takes a bit until you are hit again. That time is more than enough to regen with an aura and save 2~3 flask slots. Indeed, I never use more than 1 mana pot, so I am thinking of leaving only 1 up for that matter.

Since there are no +10000 evasion flasks, I will replace them with diamond ones.

This is just an experiment, I will tell you how it goes after.

I am really, really happy with this build!
