Yea, its a pretty gear dependent build, you need pretty specific gear for it to work properly in the engame(high phys bow, good leech items, high life/eva/rez gear), yes the normal build is made without using lioneyes because a perfectly rolled Harbinger bow is better, so only take the acc nodes out if you find a lioneyes, then put them back in when you find a ~400 physical damage bow.

Of course you can, same build just take piercing shots passive and use projectile weakness curse so you pierce more often, from what ive noticed split+pierce>split+chain, you get a lot more actual dps since every arrow pierces and deals the full damage rather than dealing a lot less damage and chaining randomly, which is also unreliable and more dangerous on reflect.

I've updated the guide with links for split arrow, forgot to add those when i updated it the last time

You do more dps with split arrow than with RoA, but its a lot more dangereous on off-screen reflect since your arrows can hit enemies you can not see and you might kill yourself if its a big mob, thats the reason for which i used rain of arrows instead, you always hit enemies you see (it also looks cooler hehe)
