Going from 20 passives to 40 confused me a bit, you first added to evasion and life and finesse, then they are missing in the 40 one, so you wanted me to remove those?

Fixed!

Thanks, you might want to check your other builds though I think they had the same issue.

Also I took a look at your build and someone else who posted a bit earlier, what do you think of this Build?

Build (Note this build is based on Evasion, I'm not sure how I feel about Iron Reflex)

I would try Isildox's build if you want Evasion, its working pretty well by the looks of it! His build is here:http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/69224/page/30#p4113880

Hi,

I've used this build for a while now (I'm currently lvl 74), and I really liked it. Still with the new patch and the free respec I thought of changeing a few things. Mainly because a) I play in a party with a Summoner who uses elemental weakness curse, and B) because my gear is extremely bad.

Still, I haven't found a build that I would rather use than this one, mainly because I like IR, but don't like BM.

Now I have one question: Would this build (with minor adjustments) work with LA instead of SA, or is that total nonsense?

Of course, it might just work better than the classic LA build now that i think about it(no offense petrov, you wine gulping aussie), mostly because of the high crit and of course because LA converts half of physical damage to lightning, by just sacrifcing some nodes like physical damage, a bit of crit or critical mutliplier you can get the elemental damage node clusters , there are two of them and each gives 24% WeD and theres also a node that gives 30% lightning damage.

At your level i think this would be good:Passive skill tree build

After that you just follow the normal build riughly, depend on how much damage you do you grab cirtical strike chance and multiplier nodes or eve heavy draw if you think its necesary. You do have 78% increased elemental damage with it, nice amount of physical, a lot of armor and decent life.

If this works out good i can post in the main guide too, some people are interested in it i think since using LA without mana leech or BM is pretty desired.

Keep us posted on how its working out!

Thanks a lot for your help.

I've been trying this build for some days now, but I can't really make a final judgment yet. Basically using LA works pretty good, but I feel like I'm doing less damage than I would do with SA. I haven't tested it in party play (which was actually the pont^^) yet, and I also haven't leveled LA to the max yet.. and ofc my gear still sucks :P

Thanks again,
I'll keep you up with any progress.
Hey Victor, big fan of your work and really enjoying being a Physical Ranger again on the Domination league.

I've never been a fan of the Heavy Draw mini-tree though as I feel its a big point sink for a lackluster passive at the end of it.

I've designed the below build aimed at exactly level 80 and would like your opinion on it.

Essentially I've taken some passives in a different order and swapped out the Heavy Draw tree for going straight up through the shadow start area. I gain a touch more resists, attack speed, life & mana, mana regen, crit chance, touch of str and a bunch of int. The only cost being a bit of physical dmg.

With any bonus points after this point, I can easily go anywhere depending on if I need more defense or offense. Heavy Draw, Heartseeker, Bloodthirst or the life nodes in the middle all available quickly.

Gonna give it a try anyway and if it doesn't work so well, will know for the next 4 month leagues. :)

Would something like this be a workable variant, or have I gone for too many bow damage skills?

Also I've gone with acrobatics for survivability.

Passive skill tree build

I would try this, sacrificed a frenzy charge for 60% crit chance, should be a bit better dps at that level. The rest looks okay, opting out of heavy draw cam be good if you change some routes, i take because i always liked that node and having a lot of damage on hit.

That looks ok, you should look at Isildoxs' build for some inspiration if you want to use acrobatics, he made a good version of this build with that keystone and its working quite nicely.

What are your thoughts on a scion start relating to the build above victor? This build is based around level 85 With the 40% mana regen being at the beginning of the scion tree, I dropped mana geyser for the reduced mana reserve near by. This build also uses split arrow, which is why I picked up piercing shots.

Obviously some passives can be adjusted depending upon what gear you have set up. There are some life nodes available ready to use, there are some more bow based stuff if you choose to get more damage.

Give me an idea of what you think and/or if you got any ways of improving it. Personally I think it looks great, but I think there could be a way to save 2-4 points somewhere

Few things make me wonder about the HC version of the build.
- you link increased critical strikes and critical damage, and yet you go for resolute technique (which makes you unable to crit)
- is going there even worth it? its 8 skill points (9 including that 2% max all res node)
- wouldnt swapping those four 8% life nodes in the middle of the tree and 2 8% and 1 12% node (next to additional frenzy charge) nodes for duellist nodes ( 12, 8, 8, 1.5% regen) nodes do better than lots of flat HP with barely any regen?
- wouldnt 24% evasion and armor node (right of duellist starting area) instead of 30% armor node (left of duellist starting area) work better?
- no berserking? thats 21% additional attack speed...

-probably a good idea to read the thread before posting.

~level 40:Passive skill tree build

~level 60:Passive skill tree build

~level 80: Passive skill tree build

and so on until you the final tree :Passive skill tree build

Skill links:
5 linked RoA-added fire damage-faster attacks-concentrated effect-increased area of effect

6linked roa--faster attacks-concentrated effect-increased area of effect-added fire damage-faster projectiles(or weapon elemental damage)

5 linked frenzy-faster attacks-added fire damage-culling strike-mana leech(or weapon ele damage if you have enough mana leech on gear)

6linked Frenzy-Faster attacks-added fire damage-culling strike-weapon ele damage-faster projectiles

-yes, 100% accuracy and no risk to dying to reflect +2% damage reduction to elemental damage.

-Of course you can do that if you want more regen, its a guide, not a law book, you can also use vitality aura for even more regen.

-No, its 24% increased armor only with iron reflexes, it does not increase both (has been fixed a long time ago).

-again, probably a good idea to click on the right passive tree...

Could you make a gameplay vid of this build? Would love to see it in action at level 80+ or so...
