Path of Exile Release Information
The Guild Tag Reserving is VERY Interesting. I'm curious how that will be done. Is it something that we are going to need to pay for? Is it going to be expensive?
I'm part of a gaming community that dates back to the heydays of Diablo II, and we have reserved forum space on our site for PoE discussion, and currently there are.... ~10-15 of us that play. One sure fire way to get more of us playing is to have a guild. I don't know why, but it's worked in every game that has a guild function in it, even a mobile MMO like Pocket Legends. So the idea of being able to create, a guild, and stash for the guild is really intriguing. |

" Best quote ever. I'm in an abusive relationship with life. It keeps beating the hell out of me and I'm too cowardly to leave it.

Any chance we'll see the updated Scion-included skill tree BEFORE the patch so we can plan? Even a couple hours of planning would be enough for my build, I need to see if Scion would beat Marauder at this.

" GGG has done wonders bridging the gap between traditional FTP w/micro-transactions and PTP. Their mirco's are ethical (offering ZERO game playability advancements) and highly affordable (only a few dollars for a completely revamped stash or a few cool effects). As this pertains to guild functionality - guilds exist now and function perfectly fine. Players share Google spreadsheets listing the "bank" and chat in outside programs (TS3 or Google Hangout or Skype). When players want to get loot they wait for the bank holder (usually the person with the most free time to play or the most trusted) to log and ask for an item/gem/orb. GGG is not offering anything that isn't available currently - merely an simpler way to organize it (akin to premium stash tabs or expanded stash tabs being nothing more than something to keep people from being forced to make "mule" characters). I understand that you are merely expressing an opinion, and I respect that; however, I also respect GGG and their quest to make an amazing game. To make an amazing game you need money...to get money you have to offer something that people want...in order to offer something that people want, that doesn't effect the power level of a character, you have to use functionality and ease-of-use upgrades. I say CHEERS and keep up the amazing work. EVERYTHING IS BETTER WHEN IT'S TACO-FLAVORED! Last edited by mrtannerwold#6441 on Oct 10, 2013, 1:07:50 PM

" So those "6 completely new areas" you mentioned during the interviews was a lie? nice! Let me guess - 4 floors in the Tower + Library + Garden? Not really 6 new area's, is it? Would it really have been that hard to just say "three new area's to finish out act 3"? |

" Well, to be totally honest, extra stash tabs offer some sort of little game playability advancement. Especially if you're a high level. For example, if you have a lot of stash tabs you can store your items in order to get chaos recipes/store maps/store high item level items and many other things. Nevertheless I still think that GGG's microtransation system is the best one out there. |
