If there was a delay almost every disconnect/crash would result in a death, which would make HC pretty much unplayable for many of us.

Exiting out to avoid death sounds so extremely boring and dumb to me.
I guess its another reason to add to the pile of reason of why I am not interested in hardcore. Standard Forever

Never done it.
