[ARCADE World]-- Items Revenge League ( edit)

There should be a place in Wraeclast where you could put any Weapon or item and add to it some mysterious engredients to make the revenge recipe.

A revenge recipe is the only way to give your item (a VOLTAXIC RIFT bow ?), a chance to live by himself and prove his aptitudes. Aren't you aware of their misery ? Imagine being a bow, you are held by the same hands, no wonder they are scruffy, then you go sleep in a stash for dozens of hours, maybe days or weeks! One day someone put you in a trade window, you enter an old, not cleaned inventory along with crafting items like jeweller's orbs and fusings and whetstones. You pray this time, the hands that are going to hold you, are perfect, or you just pray someone put you in a large tab stash.. NOPE! This time someone is jewel'ing the hell out of you, he does not stop until he pierce you 6 times! After that they start to fuse the helll out of you, OMG what a life! No talking about all those whetstones used before each fusing..

We will free ourselves, it's a matter of time!

What if we had a league where items could express themselves, each player can summon an item using that special recipe, and of course the recipe needs a lot of mysterious components that can be found throughout your journey in Wraeclast as a normal player.

You will be able to play with that item in a first person shooter angle, you can compete with other player's items.
Throughout your journey as an item, you can find gear and animate it be on your side, i am thinking about a nice quiver as an example..

Everyone start with one single item, but everyone can kill monsters in wraeclast playing with item as your main character on that league, any drops can be used to help you fight against others in a dynamic item pvp world.

So what i am suggesting in the end is a league or an arena where you can control an item as your main character. You can do :
WvW : Weapon VS Weapon ( even chests and stuff so it's ivi item vs item i guess )
WvE : Weapon VS everyone ( monsters in wraeclast )

It would be a nice FAST ENJOYEMENT in poe, DIABLO offered some funny things like the cow area, poe can *release* a little.
It might even be something hidden in the game, no need to put it as an official league..
Your stats are the item stats ONLY! You can get some by animating another piece like a quiver ( if bow) and get more stats.

Final note : this idea was inspired by the new skill : animate guardian.

What if you could choose on the Character Select Screen, not Ranger or A Marauder or other class, but an item as your main char :

You play in a first person shooter angle and start leveling, maybe make a party of 6 items and start doing maps;

Or just start pvp with other items! Bow Pew pew pew VS Maul Smash smash smash

Edit : oh and its name is Revenge league, because items and other uniques live by themselves and don't need us players to abuse them anymore.

Don't you already choose what you equip? Or you are just looking for a different PoV while playing the game? You could always just zoom in all the way and pretend you are your sword. =)

I like the idea of forming a party with other items. Of course, their "character" would be defined by their innate stat bases. A pair of heavy armour boots would definitely be Marauder. =^[.]^=
