Who cares... Instead of players having to use 3rd party programs to hotkey /oos and use one of the 3rd party sites to find shit to buy or sell, GGG needs to implement something official into the game.
Too many of the issues in the game currently have to be handled by the players because the devs are be ignorant to their faults. Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

My agenda is not hidden in any shape or form. I want GGG to be a better team and work on glaring issues within their game to make it better for everyone. If they really wanted to make a game that everyone can enjoy for many years, they need to work on making a better overall experience.

Don't think GGG is gonna make it a rule since the indexers are not created,supported nor recommended by them.
However, this should be an unwritten rule or rather a principle on how to handle the issue. Such principle as the act 1 normal being a meeting place for trading in-game, for example. |

If the shop indexers had half a brain, they'd allow a tag (similar to the ~b/o and ~c/o tags) which the indexer-literate could use to exclude particular items, such as their currently worn gear, from popping up in searches.
