Quick feedback about conversation exchange on PoE (and friend list.)

Hi,

Since i have 99 friends and could not delete anyone fearing :

-To delete someone imortant
-To delete that guy i owe 2 ex
-To delete an old friend that did not log in for a long time because he is busy now but will come back.

I could just delete any friend and do not care, but i really would not like to hurt anyone feeling by showing to them i don't know who they are when they chat with me ( a friend deleted = account name does not show )



=> Now, i can just invite someone for a sec and kick from party before he even accepts or refuses invitation, i can check quickly his account name and figure out if i know him or not.


If it's so easy to get an account name ( add a player weither he adds you back or not ) and ( invite him ),

Why don't we have the ability to have access to someone account name IF we are on their friend list ?( note : a lot of players have added me and i don't even know with which i am talking anymore)

Here is an example of how you can get easily an account name of a player without adding him, yet you can neither add him nor know about his account name even if he added you :

So :

1° Please allow us to have more friends ?
2° Allow us to see account names of players that have YOURNAME on THEIR friend list ?
3° Or, Allow me to have notes in game ( i would add a note to each name i see throught my player's journey )

I talked to chris about friends list space as a microtrasnaction a while ago.
Half a year ago or so.
He said they were coming.

No action.
This would be pitifully easy to implement (Unless they made their friends list system garbage, which would still be their fault).
It's also them intentionally making less money than they could be making.
Step up your game, GGG. Like what the actual fuck.

If you can't figure out in half a year how to increase the number of friends list spaces and make it a microtransaction, there are some serious problems and you may have to reconsider some of your staff.

Now i know that isn't the case, so what's the excuse?

I don't want it to be a microtransaction actually but it's okay if it is..


What i would like to see is : NOTES in game, it will allow me to name each username/account name and add a description.

Oh and did you see how it's easy to get an account name of someone ?
So why can't we have players that added you, account names ?
Note : if you have 99 friends, people will add you see your account name but you will not be able to add them in the other hand :s

ingame notes would really be helpful.
i hate having notes on paper which regularily vanish when i accidentally use them as pizza pads or having to leave the game to maintain text files with notes on a second monitor for it.

I lost a lot of potential fun players to interact with.



A lot of them were buyers/sellers.


They come to me, talk a little, and see that i don't remember them anymore. They walk away.


I am sure i could have much much better social in game interactions = better game experience, if i was able to know with whom i was talking..


Note : ofc, they know who i am because they added me, too bad i can't know who they are since the only way to know what is their account name when you have 99 friends is to inv them.
