Perz' Reave Shadow

Well I haven't had that many skill points either than you have on your 64 tree.

Anyway, with a q20 pcoc you have 50% chance on a crit. Therefor it will proc way more often if codt is low. Well maybe there's just the right spot to find what level it would be the most rewarding.

Did you wanted to try out Iron Reflex btw? What results did you had there? Since the leech is kinda high anyway, armor would obviously be way better against heavy hits from boss monsters. so you don't die in 1 or 2 hits and can leech back in time?
At least that's what I think if 3,2k ES is still critical on getting one hitted ...
Also less evade -> more dmg on codt. And should be able to leech back that anyway. I dunno...
Did anyone tested IR yet?

OK thanks,

U dont need to level cwdt if u want to use it with a levelledpcoc , the level requirement for cwdt is only for skill gems not support.
So u can leave it unlevelled unless u want the dmg/chill from ice spear.

oh really? that's nice then

i tested it and i didnt like it. already said something about it 1-2 pages before.
btw cwdt still cast as often as on evasion. just not as constant.

Well but is that intended to work only on skill gems not on support? According to the patch notes "Cast On Damage Taken: The level requirement of gems augmented by Cast on Damage Taken may not exceed the level requirement of the Cast on Damage Taken gem." it sounds (for me) that it should be for every. I don't wanna risk it and will just wait with lvling those until a few days have passed and if or if not this will be patched.

But if it's only for skill gems and not for support gems that would be really neat. At least for pcoc. Still leveling the one for Enduring Cry and Vulnerability right?

Okay so no IR then. Probably have missed that, sorry! Really love the guide and the time you took into it to make it even better over the time being :)
mmm. so now that we're back without ice nova, why use vulnerability instead temporal chains?
I do understand both to be great but between more damage and leech or halving the speed of everything nearby I think the second option is the best.
Hi all,
A little thing i don't really understand is the eye of chayula.
I didn't understand when it's usefull so i follow this builde without it.
I'm actually with the alpha's howl for the imune forzen and chilled that is a must have.
And like this I don't have the feeling to be stunned.
So for now I run with a dps amulet which I find really better
Spoiler

So why do you speak of the eye of chayula has a must have?

Cannot be Stunned. It's that big of a difference. Seriously.

I also had a question. I am currently too broke to afford an Alpha's Howl and as I work towards it and 5Lor6L my Carcass. I was thinking of using Rime Gaze as a 5L Alternative:

But as it is pure ES gear the Blue bias is savage and rolling 2 Green and 2 Red will most likely be impossible. Should I continue to sink Chrom's into it and pray or just find something better in the mean time until I can get my Alpha's?

Anyone have personal experience with trying to roll all off color sockets on an item?

Hm, I run some 66's maps. Without eye of chayula. Didn't really felt any difference. I noticed I got stunned for a couple of seconds sometimes. But yeah..

Maybe/Probably it makes a bigger difference on larger mobs with more hp that you don't kill as fast - and if they stun you and hit hard, that could get critical.

So it's more a trade-off with survivability and dps I guess. But if you are stunned there's nothing you can do about...

Yeah trying to roll 3R on Carcass - haha. It doesn't want to happen. But yeah not sure if it would worth spending too much on it - if you plan to replace it at some point (soonish) anyway. And yeah rolling RRGG on a pure ES is - very difficult.

Alright...So now that my previous plan B has gone by the waste side. I am going to appeal to the Hive mind here and get some input on my setup. With the obvious exceptions of my Carcass which is a work in progress and killing my resources. What is the thought on what I could change for reasonably cheap until I can start aquiring my "Endgame" gear.

I am doing well and not dying a whole lot. But I have seemingly hit a gear wall and as I begin to run Maps I feel I will need more.

Passive skill tree build

Current Gear

Here are my raw Unbuffed stats, Using Reave-Multistrike-Faster Attacks-Concentrated Effect

And as you roll around laughing at my misfortune of gear, remember I am a broke PoE College student trying to make my way to Endgame. Help me out here guys. Seriously. Ha ha.

---Also Just for the record...I got my Eye of Chay on a drop. It was +14 all...I then proceed to gamble with 2 blessed orbs which rolled it to 12 then 11. Which then made me want to jump off a cliff. So Blessed Orb donations would be a "Blessing" lol.---

Why would you waste blessed orbs on an amulet that could at MAX, give you another whopping +2 to all stats when you could seriously upgrade your other slots for a few chaos here and there?

You have to realize what is important for your build.

You really need some solid yet not endgame gear to have yourself buffed up a bit for that stage in the game.

I won't just criticize though.

I have been upgrading my gear a lot recently, and I do still have some pretty darn good, but not uber end-game stuff stashed away. If you are interested in getting some of it for not too much currency, let me know.

Spoiler

Doing something like actually using orbs on such small rolls will for sure put you back on your build when you should be trying to scrape up currency to buy solid upgrades when you hit levels that can use them.

For your tree, you should just be following Perz' in the OP for the most part.

Good luck.
Also, I have a random question.

Why is Whirling Blades linked with Endurance Charge on Stun? When we use WB, are we stunning? Is the freeze from Hatred if it procs a freeze being considered as a stun and we get the charges from it? I don't see what the point of it is and thought that we were getting the end charges from the proc on Enduring Cry.

Anyone explain?
