Just have the groups sign up before the race, and you could set up a ladder. Or if you partied once in the race you would be considered in the group ladder. Maybe if it was the only event of the weekend it would be kinda rough, I can see alot of people being upset by a shadow only race and nothing else for a week. But if there's a bunch of events like during the open weekend a couple weeks ago (1 week race and 4 short races) throwing in a class specific race might be a nice change up. Also I think class-specific races would get a pretty small showing, and get tiresome quickly. It would be fun if every week there were the party race, then one class-specific solo race, and every week it cycles which class that is. We never played with each-other and we started discussing strats 3 minutes before we started the race. In retrospect we kind of rushed through to brutus and should have gotten an extra level. This kind of slowed us down and left us getting into some dangerous situations. Before and just after Brutus.
