a) the game isnt released yet
b) ilv77 is not low level
c) ilv80+ does not guarantee higher tiers of each prefix and suffix type
d) even if there is a higher base dagger that would be better released in the next few months, it may be a good long while before anyone crafts a dagger that is better anyway.

Don't listen to people talking about release and blah-blah-blah

If a couple new affix tiers get released, they can be the ones to dump in 40+ eternals to beat your dagger by like 20 dps (lmao XD)



Edit: You could even settle for "Conqueror's" prefix, 1 below max tier, and end up with an incredibly strong result. Your last prefix is by far the least impactful compared to your massive Tyrranical and flat phys rolls.

And when they come out with higher base items (which they will, eventually, but not at release I hear), how long will it take someone to craft a better one???? Months, maybe longer. I just crafted the first dagger over 400 dps in the game, next highest is like 360 (but has much lower crit, mine maxed). And we've been in open beta for 10 months; the max daggers can go is like 490 with perfect stats. Just because new tiers might be released doesn't automatically negate an item. It will take a hit of course, but crafting dagger aint easy bro. It's a lot easier to craft swords, axes, maces etc... all the melee weapons that don't roll mana, spell dmg, hybrid spell, spell crit, mana regen, cast speed, projectile speed etc etc.

TLDR - Keep crafting bro, ain't no one gonna beat that dagger in the next 6 months except me :)

yeah please post a better dagger than this when ilv90 gear comes out.


protip: start saving now, your going to need at least as many eternals + exalts as i did, probably more, because i was super lucky with the first few stats.

Also, think about this: There is about 90 prefix's and 115 suffixes that daggers can roll right now...when they release new item tiers, lol, it's gonna suck that much more to craft. Your % of rolling the affix you want just took big dip....

Its very likely there wont even be new tiers for the valuable mods upon release.

There is no reason for GGG to power creep mods considering perfect gear (other than ES pieces do not yet exist.
