Blue Screen of Death with some sound cards

i not read all the 16 pages sorry xD
i only want to help so this way i can tell you that my soundcard make the trouble with the blue screen too. it is an: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatality Championship series

i need to use both --softwareaudio and -gc2 at the same time.


"...\Client.exe" --softwareaudio -gc2

would this do? need to remove spaces or change the order?

I have Audigy 2ZS and the problem occurs everytime ,and yes its caused by the sound card ,cause when I start the game and watching movie on my tv card at the same time the sound starts to flicker in some strange ways like some echo has been aded to the tv cards audio out.

I have got X-Fi ExtremeGamer and the same problem.

I use a analog devices soundmax HD integrated soundchip, on my asus motherboard, most recent drivers.

Constant crashing of the game during zoning, with exceptions with open AL wrapper.

the --nosound switch solves all crashes, however software sound does not.

Any work around to be able to play with sound?

ps: note i dont get blue screen, just game crash.

I ended up having to resort to using the --nosound extension. I hope they make this priority and fix it cause i really want to play with sound and with out blue screens.

I have Dell Vostro 3750 with realtek sound card on board . I haveing big game problems , After changing instances , laptop make "strange noises" and slow down very much , after rebot i can play normally abaut 10-15 min . --" " doesnt work , new drivers or turning of sound card too . Have sbdy same problem ?

Well i have lot of BSOD to. Mainly always after entering new instances. I got Creative XFI Xtreme Gamer and i found a solution that works for me and i have no BSOD`s now. I changed Texture Quality to Medium and everything starts to work fine now. I hope this helps.

I've had that unchecked the entire time, changes nothing.
