Razer Footprints Promotion

To add to my post earlier. The footprints are hardly noticeable. When walking in zones or in combat you can barely see them. I know you guys are complaining about the principle of it, but I'd be willing to go through a lot more "advertising" to keep GGG from belly up than a couple footprints in town. I wouldn't mind "watching" a 30 second commercial if it meant we got upgrade chest pieces. Or have to click out an add pop up every time you killed Vaal/Piety/Merveil when leveling or a Map boss if it meant GGG would be able to hire a part time employee to start brainstorming different type of new races.

GGG, I'm assuming, doesn't want to stop with this game. You would think that eventually they will move on to the next project. How do they do that. Make money. And when you have a free to play game, the business model is going to be slightly different. Especially if your trying hard not to be P2W.

I might spend a little on an MT that made my character have a set of golf clubs on his back instead of a quiver. And they'd shoot the golf clubs at monsters. I think that'd be funny shit. So if a Cleveland/Ping/Taylor Made rep is out there, try and strike up a deal. I'm in!!!!

Just to get my official opinion out there...
I don't think this is THAT bad.
Sure, the snakes idea instead of the logo would've been cooler and less obtrusive perhaps. But the Razer logo isn't really that obnoxious, visually speaking. Like people have said, if you didn't know it was Razer, it would just be a weird bright green sigil (arguably cool looking). And I'm sure Razer required a degree of visibility for their logo, so it couldn't be something that no one would recognize or ever see unless zoomed in and looking for it.
I don't care for Razer personally, their shit breaks, but whatever. Good for GGG to have a partnership. I understand the fear of a "slippery slope" and being butthurt about what amounts to an ad, but you're all being a bunch of whimpy kiddie baby whiners. :P
I'm sure GGG will take your feedback into consideration for future partnership MTX things that may arise or what have you. I don't think they purposely seek out ways to make your backside ache. Cut them some slack.

if this is generating some cash now that will help pay for all the base items and uniques to have proper 3d art and design then awesome, I have no problem with it. Far rather see these footprints than that floating goldfish thing.

GGG, you have started down a slipper slope, one that makes me leery about putting more money into this game. I'm now concerned about your financial stability and what other advertising will invade PoE in the future.

I can understand you have to do what you have to do to keep the lights on, but man this is a disheartening news post.

I feel like buying more Razer stuff already.

I could buy new keyboard, headset, mouse and mousepad. But i won't.

I got the footprints out of curiosity. Tested them for a bit and I won't be using them. They aren't as bad as people make them out to be, but they DO look out of place.

Saturation could be turned down and the rotation should be disabled.
