My computer crashes randomly during PoE / not an overheating problem
Same for me, PoE was stable since open Beta, since some weeks it tends to hang up/freeze my entire PC. All other Games are fine. I've re-installed my NVidia GFX Drivers, clean with deleting the old ones and without 3D Vison this time (can cause trouble). I've also set in the PoE gfx driver profile max performance under energy management and I've raised the minimal CPU clock from 5% to 10% (CPU<->GPU timings can cause issues when for instance CPU has a to low powersave idle mode) , I hope this all helps somenow, needs further tests. But not much moot to play PoE because of the recent instabilities.

Same situation here. The game runs perfectly fine until entering Docks or Lunaris. From that point on I continually have random shutdowns without notification/BSODs/eventlog entries.
Hardware is unlikely the issue. The system is >18h stable in all stress tests. All drivers are current release or better (video is beta for the sake of testing). Temps are all well within spec tolerances. PackCheck tests fine. CPU: i5-3570k (overclocked if it matters) GPU: nVIDIA GTX 670 RAM: 8GB GSKILL HD: 120GB Crucial SSD Last edited by booneexile on Sep 10, 2013, 12:50:46 AM

This is basically what happens to me as well on top of other things, and game is not playable anymore, simply.

i just had 2 bluesreens in a matter of 2-4mins while on docks and on a map "gorge"
never been unstable before current patch. " litteraly chrashing 1-2 minutes into booting the game..
Spoiler
running packcheck atm will report. All hashes checked i5 3.6 / gtx 680 cu-II 16gb/ram checked and tested i've used this pc for far more stressfull things today "40million polygon 3d models+Rendering @ 8k" Last edited by Tyrlith on Sep 10, 2013, 12:11:15 PM

2x event log reports basic powerdown event.
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. Use the program called BlueScreenView and post the details of the BSOD you get. It should list some information which could be relevant to determining what is causing the crash.

Have to add my experience to this lament - my laptop with ATI Radeon HD 5700 1GB DDR3 also crashes in Docks fairly consistently, have only started partying there in recent weeks. No previous problems. Usually I crash at a time when party lag is super bad, everyone's weapon fx making it impossible to tell what the hell is going on, and multitudes of chaos mutts are going mental. Sorry my patience so far hasn't stretched to documenting anything or doing any deeper research. Last night I reduced the graphic quality settings in POE and haven't tried again (because last night's crash required more than a mere reboot to recover from) so not sure if I will have an improved experience on my next attempt.
