Write the same stats of your rare item

Find the same or similar items as yours and figure what is the price of your items.

Tips 2# :

A good way top know the value of some items you have 0 knowledge about their value is to check the threads titled : SOLD.

Let's check 10 pages from selling forum.


What are the selling threads with sold i found :

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/477916/page/1 It seems that a 430DPS 2H Mace could sell for 5 ex when the seller let it go for only 1.5ex

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/510285 Voltaxic Rift crazy bow 5 linked can sell for 11 ex+ 3 eternals ( and atm 1 eternal = 2.5-3 ex ) so more than 18.5 ex

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/510284 sold for only 4.2 ex and i know for a fact that it was cheap ( so sold threads might not be always accurate, same as price checks here )

So what do you haev to keep in mind ? Prices are not fixed, those boots you saw, well someone could have just sold them out for 2-3 gcp, and if you saw that guy you might have got an innacurate value of them.

What else ? Prices as i said can change from a seller to another to YOU.


Example, a SOul taker unique can be seen selling for 30 ex at a crazy sellser thread while you can see it selling for 17 ex at another person selling.

4 linked boots you mean. And it's sold for b/o of 4.5 ex. Yup.

Thanks for the thread. Helped me out a little too despite me having a certain degree of prior knowledge about prices.

And yes, sometimes it's mind boggling. I can see soul takers go for buyout prices of 32 ex for really high or near perfect rolls. Then one week later, all soul takers go for around 19 ex.

Yeah i am the one who made them fall to that price, i was lucky enough to have one and since no one was buying i lowered mine and all lowered theirs.

But they could change again.

I do excactly what writen by op.

In D3 just much faster and efficient.

When someone bids on an item in poe. search poe.xyz for same stats but a good amount lower. if I find something I write him his offer was bad, because it is worth this but I only want that. And I never gets it sold.

D3 = right click item, list of many similar, price it lower again, smack it up for sale, done.

But d3 physics and gameplay are ass, dont bring up d3 on PoE forums bro :P, this is a non-money game.
