What kind of stats shall I start looking from the gear?

life 50+, resists, atleast double resists per defensive item.
Then get up the lifeleech =)

Life leech is good, 1-2 hits and full life. Thanks for the tips.

You video shows you attacking very fast, but you have no hardly any attack speed on your gear.. How are you accomplishing this? I have about 30+ attack speed on my gear, plus most of the passive attack speed nodes, but am not attacking near as fast.. What is your secret? :)

The secret is the beauty of multistrike, it MULTIPLIES your attackspeed, not adds =)

This means that my weapons attackspeed+nodes get multiplied with multistrike.
This in turn means incredible attackspeed without faster attacks gem.(i got one attackspeed ring, that's it!)

The nodes total attackspeed increase is: 78% increase, and then i get 8% increase from cruel bandit quest for a total of 86%.

Just letting you know, you waste 2 dex nodes in your tree when instead you can pick up 1 end charge + 18% inc end charge duration to link the path

Also, i would recommend helping oak in cruel for 18% phys damage instead of the 8% speed, this will make it ever slightly more easy to maintain your mana pool and most likely increase your damage more then an 8% speed boost

edit: and why do you use abyssus? you are gimping yourself without using Bringer of rain, 15% block extra is huge, its easy to get 50%+ dual wield block with it and a proper tree which is crazy

And how do you go with physical reflect with your crits?

Going resolute technique means a constant and predictable leech rate with vaal pact, instead of spiky slightly unpredictable leech rate with crits

Here is what I would do with non resolute technique if you really want that extra 12% life leech

But more damage = more leech, with 2 x 3% from claws and 2% from tree it and 100% chance to hit with good dps I think it is better

The hardest boss content is all focused around taking burst damage and big hits, if you have 3-4k life it is simply not enough, you will die. merc dominus is nothing compared to some end map boss damage, this is why you need upwards of 5k life and constant leech + unwavering to facetank them

Ill keep you posted how my build goes, havent been able to play at all lately

You're right about the endurance path, that is more optimal, well spotted!
About your opinion on abyssus, i don't agree. i think the extra damageadd from abyssus is more important than the extra defence from bringer of rain. Besides, the attackspeed from bringer of rain will make you too fast, making manaleech a problem.
There's also the problem of maxing out resists without a chestpiece.

IF you want to use bringer of rain i would suggest modifying the build to take more damagenodes and some all ress, dump some speed out to balance it out more.
But again, that's just preferance, i prefer more damage, hence i want full control of my 6L chain.

And thi's build isn't tested for 74+ maps.
I have run up to 73 maps with it with no problems, (half regen is annoying thou) but don't plan on playing highest of maps.

With that said i can't guarantee this build is highmap safe.

Edit: Physical reflect is not a problem, just pop a ironflask when facing them.

Edit2: oops, missed that you still take the clawnodes =)
Then yes, your leech would be more stable, though my crits are minimal. I have actually made the build around the idea not to crit =)

Hey, nice guide :)

Using this build too since i recently started PoE again. But I got some questions:
First, why are you using "Life Gain on Hit" instead of "Life Leech"? Life Leech only got a 130% multiplier instead of 150% as Life Gain on Hit does. And I think (didn't calculated it though) the amount on life leeched is higher than the flat value of life gain or am I mistaken?

Also, just theoretically because I lack the founds anyhow, would be Alphas Howl no good idea, for aura usage and of course "cannot be frozen"?

Hi there!
I recommend using life on hit while you level this build, simply because you can skip vaal pact and have life on hit AND lifeleech from nodes. Then spec into vaal pact in late game instead 65+

Alpha's howl isn't a bad choice, thou i don't hink you would have alot of mana left if you choose to go 3 auras(third being determination)

Freezing isn't an issue, i rarely get frozen, and when i does i have antifreeze on one of my manapots.

The reason for abyssus being so good is because it adds 40-60 flat damage to BOTH your weapons, this means that you get 80-120 more flat damage out when using dualstrike, and the damage added also scales with all your nodes etc. since a couple of patches back.

Hiya!
As i wrote in my guide, Hatred is prio one, Grace prio two. Determination is just wishing so far.. i don't think i'll be able to use determination. you COULD use it thou with some better mana reserve nodes and Bloodmagic gem in damagechain. Thou i don't consider it worth it, you'll outleech any damage taken unless you get oneshotted =)

So Life Gain on Hit is not affected by the 20% of max life leech per second, that is why? Or also the fact that flat values are generally more efficient in the low level area?

Oh by the way, you could exchange 1 Dex node for 2 +25% crit chance if thats worth it? (its the way up on the left side of the ranger start area)
