The Keystone specificly says cannot EVADE, nothing about block, Dodge, etc :)

Don't know, i'm at work. But as far as i know nothing should have changed, nothing that i can see without logging in that is.

Edit: pasted from patchnotes: Some skills now display average damage per skill use instead of DPS, as DPS would not make sense for them.

Maybe this is causing it? i would simply see it as an tooltip error, since dualstrike SHOULD display DPS, not damage per use.

Tested my build on a couple of runs today, thou the dps is halved on tooptip. it feels the same when playing.
Thou weirdly enough i start to have manaproblems now with bugged tooltip.
Hope this is just some bug related to the half tooltip error.

Am doing 28k dps after the tooltip thing, thing is I really got lots of crit nodes, and i never died to reflect, I pop my 2 flasks to negate the reflect.
Update!
I decided i wanted to get rid of the occasional "no mana" happenings.
So i unspecced the Three small evasion/Life nodes South of ranger start and picked up the "Mana Geyser" Keystone North of Ranger start.

This have given me 220 free mana and enough sustain to never run dry again.
It is alot more playable now.
I'll probably spec OUT of this when better gear with lots of added mana is attained later on, that means i don't need the extra mana from passives.

It's all about balance =)

Crit nodes will Always net higher dps than raw damage.
That is because crit's multiplier scales so insanely well with the best of gear in endgame.
But the gameplay BEFORE you get 50%+ chance and 400%+ multiplier is.... not good :)

With that said, want to go insane dps and crit like a god?

Thank you for this build!

I've always wanted to try the Duelist and picked up this guide as a start..

This build is hard without the Multistrike gem (so I guess it is sort of gear specific), but once I bought it, the mana problem was a lot less severe but occasionally run out of mana here and there.

I've been doing this build in Nemesis mode (even though you built this Duelist for standard league) and died at 53 because I fought a Corrupted blood boss and got cocky with having the Multistrike gem expecting to leech life (plus I didn't read the guide good enough and used swords instead of claws and also was stupid for not having a dispel bleeding flask.)

I rebuilt this char with claws and it's better. I always have problems with having enough mana for builds... hopefully the Mana Geyser node will help.

I've played a lot of builds and this is by far the most fun! I tweaked it a little (went for the +24% max HP near Bloodless), but it's essentially the same. Armor based (Unwavering/Iron Reflexes) is definitely the way to go! Thanks for the guide! :)

Glad to hear more and more are discovering this build and enjoying it!
I'm currently in the works on an Pure fire damage build(still melee) using the same concept as i used for my duelist.

When i'm hitting 70+ with it i might post some info on the build, and if i feel it's highly succesful i'll post Another buildthread and link these two together.
It's an scionbased build btw.

I can't find the Tree small evasion/Life nodes... did you update your skill trees? Is it for the near end game tree?
