[1.2.x] AlfaPOWA's Dualstriker - Update under construction. TBA
" Yeah, kind of annoying, since my Enfeeble is level 10 and Q16%. But I just run with low level gems atm and wait for AlfaPowa to test everything :) IGN: Qwib_Cleave [Delve League SC]

Like, atleast give us low level gems instead of leaving us forced to level the gems or downlevel them...

So if i level my CODT gem to 9 what level will my Molten shell, Immortal Call, and Increased Duration have to be unleveled to? Would it still be worth max leveling CODT?

Bump for this awesome build and a little update from me. This build is the most fun I've ever had and my first successfull build in merciless. My EQ;

" The balance is up to you. I would opt for around lvl 10 CoDT gem with the same supports as Before. It still procs very often and at an decent efficiency. Still much better than Before 1.0.0 when the gems didn't even exist ;) I'm running an rangerbuild right now that i'm testing out. Thou the support for this build will be continued. I still play this toon on a Daily basis because it's so fun to rip appart all mobs on the screen within a second =) IGN - AlfettaGT

hi,
I played a lvl 78 templar in standard, (and messed up the reallocation with the full respec with release, so havent gone back to him!) and followed Sovyn's lazy templar build http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/105920 That lazy templar build suits my playstyle like a glove, since I am not big into fast clicking, multi-tasking or any type of build needing intense work :) (I am lazy and old :D). I play a scion now, following the same lazy templar build in domination league. I wanted to try a duellist and came across this build. It looks great, and more importantly is not predicated on hard to get uniques etc. Is this effort intensive (i-e keep eye for max charges and what not)? I want to play a duelist,so thought would ask. Thanks |

" Only after you equip abyssus this build needs slightly more management. Otherwise it's a "get in and kill kill kill" build =) In large packs, or against physical reflect packs you need to cough a grantiteflask to counter the extra damage taken, and after you get vaal pact you have to play even more agressive, since you don't want to stand around taking ranged damage. But in all it's an fastpaced agressive build wich is more or less click and kill style. No management of charges etc. IGN - AlfettaGT

ah thanks for the swift response! I will try this out asap.
I probably may skip vaal pact but that is at high levels anyways before that decision and I am a slooow leveller so will be a few weeks or more. thanks again :) Edit: forgot to add, I am quite content with being an average play character etc, as I fully am aware that I cant have lazy play and expect top DPS etc. I just want to be able to survive solo in most zone/areas/maps, even if slow progress etc. Sovyn's lazy pally did exactly that for me, and I think this will too - especially if I dont take that vaal pact + that phys dmg unique :). Was just worried it will be an unviable char past 60 etc for my playstyle , which doesnt appear to be the case :) Last edited by MildlyClever#2548 on Nov 20, 2013, 2:14:32 AM

" You will outtank any other build with this one if you don't take vaal pact/abyssus. But that requires you to use Life on hit supportgem in chain. I ran like that Before i got abyssus, was on 74 maps with full screen of mobs pounding away and couldn't die. everyone else dropped like flies.. hahaha! Thou since i want fast and effective killing, i equiped abyssus and had to take vaal pact to counter the damage i started to take from the helmet's negative effect. IGN - AlfettaGT
