Dancing Frenzybreaker Duelist [2.0]

What about 1-2% mana leech from gear and reduced mana instead of bm gem.
Forgot about auras sorry)

Another bump.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Haha, this build is epic. I'm currently running around in a2 merciless, solo, with this:
Spoiler

It's a garbled mess of items i found/crafted on other characters. I feel quite safe with just ~1650 life (1400 something with grace, which is the only aura i'm running atm). 75/72/75 res without end.charges, so capped with them...

Fumbled around with the passive tree to come up to this at lvl 60 and it's wrecking stuff.

I'm now shooting for the life nodes in the marauder side and then hitting up all the charges.

Haven't found multistrike yet, but that should probably boost dps quite a bit...

Great fun, thanks for the idea!

Glad to see this build working out really for you. Hopefully when you have the chance, you can update your gears to see how much you have progress in the game with this build. :)

I like this build and guide, thanks!

Theoretical level 100 duelist tree will look like this:
(118 points, +40 hp from normal bandits, +1 frenzy charge from merciless bandits)

Stats:
Spoiler
+352 to Strength
+202 to Dexterity
+34 to Intelligence
+57 to maximum Mana
+268 to maximum Life
Evasion Rating: 53
+5 Maximum Endurance Charge
+6 Maximum Frenzy Charge
+3 Maximum Power Charge
5% Additional Elemental Resistance per Endurance Charge
5% Physical Damage Reduction per Endurance Charge
5% Attack Speed Increase per Frenzy Charge
5% Cast Speed Increase per Frenzy Charge
50% Critical Strike Chance Increase per Power Charge
194% increased maximum Life
4.4% of Life Regenerated per Second
36% increased Frenzy Charge Duration
27% additional Chance to Block with Shields
12% of Block Chance applied to Spells
95% increased Armour
10% increased Movement Speed
Converts all Evasion Rating to Armour. Dexterity provides no bonus to Evasion Rating
27% increased Attack Speed
4% increased Evasion Rating per Frenzy Charge
+20% Elemental Resistances while holding a Shield
75% increased Defences from equipped Shield
You take 30% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes
8% increased maximum Mana
Your hits can't be Evaded
Never deal Critical Strikes
35% increased Melee Physical Damage
+2 to Melee Weapon and Unarmed range
+24% to all Elemental Resistances
0.2% of maximum Life Regenerated per second per Endurance Charge
32% increased Evasion Rating and Armour
Ignore all Movement Penalties from Armour
40% increased Block Recovery
+2% to maximum Fire Resistance
+2% to maximum Cold Resistance
+2% to maximum Lightning Resistance
2% of Physical Attack Damage Leeched as Life
+6.8% Energy Shield
+70.4% increased Melee Physical Damage
+404 Accuracy Rating
40.4% increased Evasion Rating

Reasoning:
- 75% (capped) block chance with lioneyes/saffells shields
- max resists
- max armor
- max health
- max run speed
- max frenzy & endurance charges
(max = maximum possible within available points while keeping the core of this build)

All fits exactly into a level 100 duelist :).

Thanks for trying out this build, and I am glad you like it. :)

That tree version is pretty awesome. Sadly, I am already specced into using Enfeeble and Purity that I cannot afford to respec some points out of INT nodes, and other nodes. Still, it would be great to spec into.

As for Darkray Vectors, I been hoping for one to drop, or find one cheap to try it out.

It is possible to use Astramentis for stats, but I guess that less life, less resists and less damage is a huge drawback. Anyways my theoretical lvl 100 duelist has access to any gear and can possibly get stats from it (at least for purity) :).

Are Darkray Vectors expensive? I looted them some time ago and didn't even check price as I was going to try them out myself but didn't have time yet.

Nope. They are cheap... very cheap.

I hope this build survives the storm (full release patch). Worse case scenario I sacrifice a bit of life to fit in the auras allocating to some of the mana reserve nodes.

While I cannot have 4 auras on now, I can make a couple version out of this build by making interesting combination with auras. Pure physical defensive auras, balanced defensive auras, and life defensive / pure offensive auras. This is where shields (Lioneye's Remorse and Saffell's Frame) come in and synergies my build to make the auras stand out.

My build so far survived the storm. I got a decent buff in life. I will update the thread once I am done with the exams I got tomorrow.
