[1.1.1] Evantis's Permastun Build and Stun Compedium

Tried a Scion on Domination last night and already fucked her ((passive tree) up).

Gonna re-roll a Marauder tonight and will definitely go with this as it looks like this could work very well with the 1.0 version of the game :)

Dont know if its possible for me to get good items for this build :/ im 25 now and lvling with leap+sweep for faster clearing. Where i have to go first ? Dmg nodes or Straight to the right side of the tree for arena ?

I would head for Resolute Technique first, then over to the duelist area and pick up those life nodes.

If you can get your hands on
you'll be sorted until endgame (shouldn't be too expensive) :)


Gear is an issue with this build.
However... you need good gear with every build. And compared to other builds it's fairly "cheap" for this one. All you need is
-a decent 1H mace with high physical damage which can cost anything from 1ex+
-and a 4-5L chest for heavy strike-melee splash-added melee damage-added fire (-end on stun) which shouldn't be too expensive (a few chaos)

Resists are not too important - you get enough from the tree.
On your gear you want: reduced stun threshold, increased stun duration, flat physcial, %physical, life, int, dex, life/mana leech - all not too expensive.

That's insane Evantis, well done :D

Can't wait to get there, but only level 13 so far on Domination. Sadly just got a few hours to play each night, and mostly playing solo so progress is slow and good gear is hard to get.

I guess joining a guild would help progress, and also a good way of getting gear for the build.

Nice to hear that, it is really fun to play build with wasn't nearly nerfed like some others depending on 3-4 auras.

BTW, As you can see in the latest video, I had 2 node points unselected.

I was testing this build without 2 x 5% reduced stun threshold nodes (those two about Blood drinker), and it worked like always, even without them. Since Endurance charge on stun support adds REST too, I think they won't be necessary any more (especially with Stun gem buffed by exactly 10% in the one of previous patches).

The only issue for my build is still permastunning Maze Vaal, but after many calculations I'm sure I won't be able to permastun him with current weapon (even with those 2 nodes, even with Stun support, even with Ming's ring). I need better weapon because of his huge life pool, and diminishing returns in REST is not the way to make it working. Everything else in PoE is permastunnable even without those 2 passives, so I plan to use those 2 points on two "Mace damage and life" nodes, below Smashing blows. Or maybe mana reservation reduce nodes near Sovereignty, which would double my free mana pool (after 2 auras), not sure yet.

I did take Unwavering stance, it works great with my high block character. I lost 19% chance to evade, so now it's time to look after boots/gloves with armour only.

288 hp/s with 6 endurance charges :)

I saw this build the other day and wanted to try it on Nemesis but it was kinda hard given the low life and the fact i had 0 money.
Now that my scion died lvl 56 ima give it a shot.

Ive been thinking on using endurance charge on stun, having cast on damage (remains lvl 1) with inmortal call, increased duration and mollten shell would make this guys much harder to kill, and HC and Nemesis viable
Dude.... Love the build, I did a few minor tweaks to suite my play style but all in all your build rocks. Perma stunning merc piety is stupid easy

So reached endgame build in standard with my Marauder. Re-rolling in Nemesis. Should be interesting to see how far I get with no gear in my stash to begin with :D

Boots really need 30% move speed, i exalted the extra defense which is quite nice but having knockback and no move speed sucks

I can perma stun dominus with multi strike + stun + added fire in BoR, goes down alot quicker that way, for harder bosses i use end charge on stun or melee phys on full life instead of multistrike

Fun build and great defensively and offencively. The 72 map boss on torture chamber killed me with lightning warp totems (double boss double totems) and i died to 78 map double dominus with vulnerability, also a double boss on that giant rock golem, took 5 hits to kill me, cant remember if i had endurance charges up

I run purity and hatred, wish i could run determination still but oh well

cast on damage taken + end cry + vulnerability + molten shell is very handy for offence and defence

I will soon run cast on damage taken + rejuv totem instead of molten shell and level up a molten shell + life leech and run that with CoDT in my mace, very handy for hard hitting melee, possibly will remove curse and use raise skeleton or cold snap in blue socket we will see

Also running 3 x 60% auras is not possible, I have enough mana left over after 1 x 40% and 1 x 60% to run tempest shield, but I like the option to use infernal blow for uber fast level 67-71 clears, but it costs twice the mana of heavy strike. Plus i have 64% block already, 4% extra is not much difference and the lightning damage it does is nothing on this build
