I've tried both v3.1 and v3.6. I get awful performance on both of them. FPS is around 15 or so when there is no action and drops while fighting.
Settings are: Full Screen Resolution: 1024x640 (anything higher is pretty much unplayable) Vsync: On No Shadows Anti Aliasing Off Textures: Medium Texture Filtering: Trilinear Post Processing: On Screen Shake: Off Computer Specs: 2009 MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard CPU: 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Graphics: nVidia GeForce 9400m Would upgrading the OS help at all? Any specific settings need to be altered? |

I downloaded it and I can't create an account? Am I supposed to buy the access key? And I also can't select a server to play on... Anyone help please?

" You need beta access to play right now. Julius's path of exile wine bundle for mac here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/48708/page/1

" Turn Post Processing OFF. Having it On most likely eats up your resources. If your computer doesn't heat up too much, you could try disabling VSync too. |
|
" Most likely the graphic card cant catch up anymore. I don't think upgrading the OSX will do any better. Only way for you to play normally on that machine is using bootcamp. |

Thank you. And also when I boot up the game, the background is just black. I've seen videos where the background is animated. I'm using a macbook pro btw. Downloaded it using playonmac.

Hello,
I have a problem on the game homepage to connect to it. I put my Email and my password but I can't select any Gateway in the window (see the link). I don't know why!!! But mostly I can't play :/ http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=827599POe.png MacBook Air Mac OS X 10.6.8 1.86 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2 Go 1067 Mhz DDR3 |

The game looks like this when I open it and the solutions suggested to fix the small window problem (CMD+Enter and CMD+opt+A) don't fix it. Does anyone have a solution for me?

" Try changing resolution in production_Config.ini. You can find it in Documents -> My Games -> Path of Exile. Or search with Spotlight. Open production_Config.ini with TextEdit.app for example. In that file look for "resolution_height=xxxx" and "resolution_width=xxxx". Change those first to correspond your native resolution and save, then start the game again. |
