Honestly I dont know how it worked,
But I extended the change to
- vd= 640x480
- videomemory= 512MB
- win7

and it worked! still has fps drops though (as usual)

I'm trying to do this but I'm only getting a black window and no settings to change. Am I Looking in the wrong place?

With the new update when I enter the game I constantly get screen flashes/flicker.

If I disable Engine Multithreading the flicker stops, but the game runs much slower.

As anyone had a similar problem and managed to fix it?

Are you all using the v7 link at the start of this thread? I don't see where to change these settings


I found where to change the settings: and switching the three worked for me

Im trying to input those settings but it doesnt seem to save my changes. Can anyone help? I wanna play!

I found there way an apply button at the very bottom or clicking run halfway down the box

I also have the black flickering screen, works when you remove the multithreading but goes from 60fps to 10-15.
Anyone experienced this or have any idea?

Hello.

My girlfriend has a Mac and she downloaded Path of Exile before the new patch arrived and it worked perfectly, however ever since this new patch she wasn't able to play Path of Exile anymore.
The game crashed, froze and eventually stopped working all together, i told her about Wineskin and she downloaded it but doesn't know how it works or how to run Path of Exile with it.
I also don't know how it works since i also don't have a Mac myself and i want to play Path of Exile with her again.

Can anyone help us out?

I am also getting the video memory error. How can you change the settings like you guys suggest? All I get is a black screen with the video memory error and then the screen freezes. Thanks!
