The game starts but doesnt load it gets stuck in the loading screen what to do?

ive been using bootcamp for poe for a year and a half until NOW

Works, seems that disabling shadows improves the performance SIGNIFICANTLY.
It is really slow the first time to town, but after that, the drop in framerate becomes bearable. Great job :) |

so now that it is, 4/28/14 , has anything at all changed with this game? any updated/better ways to run this on a mac? thank you for your time.

Hey,
i´ve downloaded the game yesterday but it was too late for the updates. i updated it today and at first it didn´t startet because of the fullscreen error. fixed it but now i stuck to the loading screen. are the loading times that long or am i just stuck? don´t get an error message or something. hope you can help me. I thought I should ask here first, but is there any known mac-port-specific bug wherein the server disconnects to the login screen and resets the instance on the final transition of the Dominus fight? He tells you the world is an illusion, the lag spikes like a heroin junky's overdose, and the game kicks you to the login screen. On logging back in you can't get back to the fight because the instance has reset, making progression impossible.
Is this a Mac port specific bug, or is this a game breaking GGG bug? |

Path of Exile Crashes
The game crashes about every hour. When in the Sceptre of God it happens on the rooftop when you fight that final boss and I can't complete the game. I think all of the info of the effects and animations just overloads it. I just don't know a whole ton about computers to tell you exactly what happens. I've tried 4.0.3, 4.1.1b, and 4.1.2, and it happens on all three. It's super frustrating because its been playable thus far (just restarting every time it crashed) but now i can't progress any further. It also lags extremely bad when I first enter zones. It lags so bad that 5 seconds later I am dead without having the frame change. Is this also because it has to load all of the effects? I've attached what was in the crash log thing… I think. Would upgrading to Mavericks make a difference?
