Use you raise zombies instead of skeletons, put a spell totem for your skeletons. It shouldn't be hard to play. I don't understand well your build however.

Updated leveling section.

New skill tree, now it will be much easier to level but it will cost a bit more to respec into CI, about 6 regrets more.

Added new info on leveling items and links for http://poe.xyz.is/ so you can buy them easily.

Question regarding the scion summoner build in the OP. Assuming I'm following your powerleveling guide to the letter, Do you have some advice on what to do for the first 70 or so points while leveling? Where would you suggest picking up temporary life/str nodes that could be erased later with the leveling respecs?

Eh I wasn't really looking for a separate build as much as I was just looking for opinions and discussion. It doesn't take any handholdimg to pick out 15 random str/dex/life nodes and just respec them later on, but some options work better than others.

I personally think it's worth it until you have a level 20 summon zombie gem. I picked one up and it is useful in situations where the normal zombies are dying faster than they can reach the mob they need to damage--particularly for burning ground maps and some large packs of mobs that do high elemental damage. All links like ""The Matriarch Build"", "Scion class build", 1st spoiler in "Leveling tips". Because thats builds differ from the new in Leveling.

Really love the guide and until lv 69 I had no problem, yes I'm died several time, because I'm a noob and this is my first and principal pg but still now I liked playing it :).
Now I'm playing in docks(merciless - domination) for farm and make exp, no problem with monsters, only boss like piety dominus and some group of elite make me cry..and lose xp..

P.s:

I had trouble with piety at the beginning too.
Then I :
- got 2 burned miscreation specters + 1 evangelist (I think it works without) linked with increase AOE + increase burning damage + minion life
- remove this melee splash (I trust Rathik for end game, but for piety with low level zombies, it's quite useless if you have et specters) and item rarity (put this one on a culling strike), instead use minion life + what you want (mine, added fire damage, minion res, minion damage).
- I finally don't use a spell totem for my skellies, instead I use added fire damage + minion damage.

To kill piety : temporal chains + vulnerability, spam skellies on her. If you're lucky the fight will last less than 10 secs. Vitality + rejuv totem might help. You'll see it's much more interesting than docks.
