I have a question about flasks. Why do u use the animation suffix when u said u dont care about the zombies dieing. The reason i ask this is because i play onslaught/HC & as such i put survival high on the list. I was rolling flasks & I rolled this



I (imo) think that bleed is the worst for ci so thats why i'm thinking about keeping it.It's just that I dunno if it's worth it on a hybrid flask.I understand why u have hybrid flasks w/ animation but i'm assuming that the zombies have a decent hp pool & w/ the hybrid giving so little hp then the pure hp pots that it'll be a drop in the bucket. The pot has 816 w/ 20% & the max animation roll is 60% so thats at most 489hp over 5s. I dont see how that would be much help. which leads me to my next question. How much unreserved mana do u have & is the hybrid flasks gives u enough mana. I'm thinking about trying to sell it & roll one on a pure mana flask but not sure how popular hybrid flasks are. Depending on your answer I might use different flasks. I understand I can use whatever I want but this is my first summoner & CI build so i am looking for input on somebody that has experience w/ the build. I was thinking about running these flasks:

1) hollowed mana w/ xtra charges & removes bleed

2) hollowed mana w/ xtra charges & remover chiil/frozen

3) quicksilver w/ charges & movement speed

4a) hybrid w/ animation

4b) mana w/ dispels burning

4c) mana w/ bubbling prefix (It increases the amount & u get half of it instant & the rest over time;also w/ this pot u can use this one when u need mana & use the other ones to dispel the status effects w/ wasting charges on them)

4d) granite w/ armor (I dont know if granite will be any good because of our low armor anyways)

5) either another mana w/ dispels shock or a topaz flask w/ shock (reason being for my thinking of topaz flask is because if u get a shock stack & dispell it then theres another chance of u getting another one & the topaz flask will help against that?

They are not needed really.
I used to use those before.
I didn't bother to change them.

I hardly ever use potions since I got divination distillate.

And granites do help. Use one with "of iron skin" suffix.

Bleeding hurts when you are cursed with vulnerability curse.


Use any combination you think works best for you.

It will not brake the build.

I have been building under this guide for a few weeks now and have a couple of questions.
One: The Velvet Slippers have a 100% quality rare finding on low life - does this work with CI?

Two: If I use Arc and also use the gems Increased area of effect and concentrated area of effect do you think there will be a lot higher damage being done by me character?

And what would need to be added to the Arc/etc. to enhance it even further?

I had a reset of all passives available on my summoner witch who is currently 83 (almost 84). I was never happy with the build I had because I could not do any high level maps since I wasn't using CI.

Now with your build I can do any map, though I don't have a 6L and don't have the best IIR IIQ gear yet I feel a lot better about my summoner.

So thanks! I currently have 3 unspent points not sure where to use them yet.

1. Nope. When going CI, your max life is 1/1, thus it will always either be 100% or 0%. No ability to go low-life with CI.

2. Arc is not an AoE spell, so adding increased AoE or concentrated AoE to it will do nothing but increase the cost of spamming arc. You can link it to chain and it will chain to 2 additional mobs, but that really isn't necessary. He has already outlined a perfect arc setup: Arc-IR-IQ-Culling Strike
It is supposed to be used as a spell to help finish off mobs (especially rares and bosses) and get a great boost of drops in the process, not as a high damage spell...that is what your zombies are for.
