[2.0]Rathik's NEWBIE FRIENDLY FUN&CHEAP FARMER, DPS Summoner. High AOE DMG, SURVIVAL."The Matriarch"
So, as realistically a noob I thought I would join the HC ladder, whatever it is called, to get a good feel and since this says newbie and cheap in the title thought I might try it. Since I will be fresh into a ladder and no play experience really how well will I do with equipment, skills, and stuff using what I find laying around on the ground for this?

" If you don't have experience in the game it might be a bad idea to jump in the HC leagues. Deaths in this game do not only come from mistakes but also from lag and desynch. If you think you can handle it, go for it, the build is HC viable. IGN Riokar | My guides

Why would Melee Physical Damage be better than Minion Damage?
I thought Minion Damage gives more bonus % damage as compared to Melee Physical Damage? |
|
" Minion damage is an increase modifier, Melee phys is more modifier |
|
" +1 Example You have base 1000 damage 40% increased damage will total in 1040 damage 40% more damage will total in 1400 damage (its not a perfect example but you should get the point) Read more about it at http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Modifiers#Flat.2C_percentage.2C_and_multiplicative_modifiers IGN Riokar | My guides [2.0]Non legacy Mjölner. "Ahem... this is not perfect example, this is outright wrong example. You have base 1000 damage 40% increased damage will total in 1400 damage 40% more damage will total in 1400 damage too but You have base 1000 damage You have 50% increased damage from tree 40% increased damage from gem will total in 1000*(100+50+40)% = 1900 damage 40% more damage from gem will total in 1000*(100+50)*(100+40)=2100 damage And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Some more thought about the build
Spoiler
1. Zombies are not tanky enough with original setup. When it comes to high level (76 -> 78) with hard mod maps, my zombie can be slaughtered easily by something like Tentacled Monstrosities with "increse attack speed, additional projectile, chain, extra damage" map mod. The situation can become even more terrible if you have "monsters from beyond" on it. And even with dual defensive curse (Enfeeble + temporal chain), my summoner still has to run for her life since my army was slain in second.
So I made a tweak. Dropped IIQ and IIR gems, bought a +2 minion gem helmet with IIQ/IIR on it, and a Raise zombie lvl 21. The new helmet tooks away 1k ES, so that's a big trade off. But my zombies now sitting at 10k5 life, and they take all the hits like champ. And I have a free 6 link to put any support I want for my spectres. Current MF and zombie stats with +2 helmet
Spoiler
Old helmet New helmet I dind't notice any change from the drop rate. Instead I cleared maps even faster and safer than before. Don't need to give a damn about those map mods now and then. For example, here all the currencies and maps drop I've kept after the change (around 6 days or so, average 10 maps a day). NOTE: All the alterations and jews was converted to fuse to be sold for exalt later.

2. I've solo mapping since Ambush and culling doesn't matter that much. So I dropped IIQ, IIR and culling strike on Arc (insane right?) and put on Reduced mana + Generosity for Hatred to buff my minion's damage further. I'm still working on the setup for my spectres (Evangelist all the way). The setup I'm using right now is RS - Spell Echo - Inc Duration - Minion damge - Conc - Inc AOE). This setup not only gives an insane amount of AOE damage but also makes my Evan become more vulnerable in reflect maps. I did try 3 animation life flask (all 60%) but it still doesn't hepl. Some setup I'm going to try RS - Spell Echo - Inc Duration - Minion damage - Fast cast - Life leech (don't really like it though, would rather get the cast speed from Flesh Offering) RS- Spell Echo - Inc Duration - Minion damge - Added fire - Life leech (still afraid of double reflect) RS- Spell Echo - Inc Duration - Minion damage - Minion life - Life leech (am I over doing it?) P/S: Does anyone know if Remote mine stil work with minion after 1.3? I can't find the answer for that anywhere else. 3. Flask: 2 Quicksilvers is a must in long run. Jade flask is excellent when goes with Enfeeble, and Quarzt flask with Adrenaline mod provide terrific utility both for escaping and relocating (that why I'm considering it a must for summoner now). The last slot will be a pure animation life or a hybird life animation (depend on mana situation). Bubbling and Catalysed are welcome. Saturated just too slow, and Seething is just too little. Since we also use Perandus belt, the flask wheel passive give us a terrific buff (14% duration + 20% from belt = 34%, up to 8 second with Jade, Quarzt and Quicksilver). I also carrying around Topaz and Ruby for boss fight, just replace Quarzt with one of them when needed) 4. Curse: I dropped Vulnerability for Temp chain. Yes the dps buff from Vulne was sweet but it's nothing compared to what Temp chain gave me: Easier for avoiding, dodging, kiting, crowd control, lower damage from mobs. My current curse setup is Enfeeble - Temp chain - Enhance on a + 1 gem wand. This gave me 68% reduced accuracy from monster, 30% less damage, less crit chance, crit multiplier. Temp chance reduce movement speed, attk and cast speed for 50%. 5. Utility gems: Vaal Discipline for emergency ES recharge, Descerate for quick summon (may drop it to get Rejuve totem or Vaal Haste) Current gear updated 2/23/2015

"You know, it is only 8th sentence in the OP... is it so hard to read less than 3 paragraphs?
