Have you tried using a levelled Lightning Penetration support gem with LA? I think it may be brutally efficient.

I would think seriously about sweapping out Culling or WED (probably the former unless you have a high qual culling, which is also awesome). The impact of Lightning Penetration may not show up on your dps counter, but its real life impact is huge.

Chains is worth raising to at least 5%. Makes a noticeable difference in mana leech recovery time. Arrows that chain accross the screen do so almost instantly at 10%. Im curious what its like at 15, 20. The game might break & uninstall itself.

Well now Im curious :) I might have a spare to test with.

The additional mana cost has kept me from trying any of the new penetration supports. I took 7% reduced mana cost in the skill tree. Now, I didnt take Soul Siphon. At level 75 or so I could swap Mana Leech for LP.

Lol Im going to test a Lightning Arrow totem with LP, WED, Chains. Ill let ya know how effective that is.

Are you still using just Evasion gear? I'm 24 so far and this build has been working great so far, found a 1.55 speed bow that has loads of fire, lit, and ice damage on it so that will carry me for a while. Haven't had any trouble with anything, but Im not sure if just evasion is good or not.

Initially CI + Evasion. I tested Evasion & Acrobatics. Currently stacking HP with a modest amount of energy shield without CI.

For my builds I sacrifice defense for offense, its a true min-max. HP + ES & Armor is the most safe feeling build so far. Were I to go for more defense I would get Body & Soul nodes. Those are strong.

Yeah I've been building the HP build so far and I do love it, just want to make sure that building strong HP and evasion won't wreck me wehn I move tot he later difficulties.

Updated for level 73. Cleaned up a few nodes & have Soul Siphon again. Level 73 HP/Armor/ES build This is by far the most well rounded & fun build to date.

Currently testing Burning Arrow as a primary 5l attack. WED, Elemental Proliferation, Fire Penetration & Chain. 2.3k dps using deaths harp for only 55 mana. This is cheaper mana cost than Ice Shot (68) & Lightning Arrow (84)

Burning Arrow eh I like that idea ;)

A second 5l or 4l with Chain & Ice Shot is good cc. I dropped 3 hp passives for the 60% increased burning passives. Chilled & burning is a good combo :)

Try Quill Rain with the Ice Shot/Chain combo & some Stun duration gear.
